Zvika Klein is a well-respected Israeli journalist of long-standing; he’s now the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post. Klein been looking into the Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, and is deeply troubled by what he’s discovered. He believes that if she were to become President, it would be a “disaster for Israel and the Jewish people.” More on his qualms about the energetic glad-hander from San Francisco can be found here: “Editor’s Notes: Harris as president could be a disaster for Israel and the Jewish people,” by Zvika Klein, Jerusalem Post, August 8, 2024:
The story begins on a tense summer afternoon on Wednesday in Detroit, where Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, was making a campaign stop. The atmosphere was charged as she arrived at an airport hangar, where she was met not only by her supporters but also by the founders of the Uncommitted National Movement, Abbas Alawieh and Layla Elabed.
This extreme group had been mobilizing Arab American voters in Michigan to withhold their support for President Joe Biden due to his stance on Israel and Gaza. During this brief encounter, a tearful Elabed pleaded with Harris to consider an arms embargo on Israel, citing the devastating impact of Israeli military actions on her community in Gaza. Harris, attempting to show empathy and maintain political balance, assured the group that her campaign would continue to engage with their concerns. This ambiguous response left room for interpretation, leading to a media frenzy and heated debates about her proper stance on the issue.
Harris’s willingness to entertain an arms embargo, as suggested during her Detroit meeting, is not an isolated incident. Over the years, her actions and statements have consistently raised alarms about her commitment to Israel. In February 2019, when Rep. Ilhan Omar used antisemitic tropes by suggesting that American support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins” and accusing American Jews of having “allegiance to a foreign country,” Harris’s response was disturbingly tepid. Instead of unequivocally condemning Omar’s statements, Harris expressed concern that the criticism might endanger Omar, thus failing to denounce the antisemitic rhetoric within her party firmly.
Harris’s support for the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) is another contentious point. In 2015, she supported the agreement, which many critics argue empowers Iran, a significant threat to Israel. Rejoining the JCPOA aligns Harris with the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, which has increasingly taken a hostile stance toward Israel. This alignment is deeply troubling for those who believe that the deal does not sufficiently prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
“In stark contrast, while Donald Trump is unpredictable and controversial, his track record regarding Israel was consistently strong: he facilitated the Abraham Accords, acknowledged the Golan Heights as part of Israel, and moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. His actions have strengthened Israel’s position and security in the region.
Harris, by contrast, could be a disaster for Israel and the Jewish people. This is a pivotal moment in history, and the choice made at the ballot box will resonate far beyond American borders….
Harris’ not refusing outright the idea of an arms embargo on Israel, her support for the Iran deal that has provided Tehran with billions to spend on its nuclear program, her close ties to the anti-Israel “progressives” in the Democratic Party — that is, the Squad — whose members are adamantly anti-Israel, her call for a Palestinian state, her unwillingness to come to Israel’s defense when the Jewish state was described at one of her political gatherings as committing “ethnic genocide,” are all cause for alarm. Her choice of Tim Walz as her running mate, when he has befriended such malevolent people as imam Asad Zaman, who refuses to condemn the October 7 attack, and has praised a movie favorable to Hitler, is worrisome, Walz even provided $100,000 in taxpayer money to the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, which is run by Asad Zaman. None of this disturbing stuff apparently fazed Kamala Harris, who happily chose Walz as her running mate.
If anyone thinks that Kamala Harris will be “good for the Jews” and not bad for Israel because “her husband is Jewish,” Zvika Klein’s piece ought to make that person think again.

Watch out what you wish for. Harris, Biden, and Obama are anti-Israel and will form alliances against Israel, you have seen what they have done to Israel, its not a matter of wait and see!

Trump is unpredictable – really? Trump kept every campaign promise despite attacks. His support for Israel has been consistent. His support in the US for Jews and other US groups has been consistent. He is quite predictable if one puts down the NYT, WAPO, and the Jerusalem Post. Chaos was caused by the haters and not by their target.
Some people are so afraid to be disinvited to cocktail parties they regurgitate lefty tropes.

Well, of course Mr. Klein is right but that isn’t the half of it. Her appointment as “liaison to the Jewish community” is anti-Israel and her convention going on right now in Chicago has been very accommodating to the anti Israel faction. Oh, there is her secret meeting with the mayor of Dearbornistan.. I’m sure she has more surprises in store. Jewish Democrats are such suckers. In her first congressional campaign Ilhan Omar told Jews she was anti-BDS. Then, nearly as soon as her election was certified she “evolved” to be pro-BDS. The rest (e.g., “all about the Benjamins) is history.

Since the Oslo Accords (1995), Israel has learned the hard way that they do not want a terrorist state as a next door neighbor. The only thing worse would be for their most important ally to become a terrorist state itself.
Well, under Biden and Harris the U.S. has become exactly that. If the Harris Walz were to dance into power, that situation would become permanent. Israel would be compelled to manufacture every weapon in its arsenal, including all the high precision weapons that make low civilian casualties possible.
Israel should begin preparing now because there is no telling how much damage Biden/Harris have done behind the scenes. Hamas is nearly a government agency now. Under Harris/Walz it would run the State Department and the Pentagon.

Israel needs to go its own way.

Yes, certainly, the editor of the Jerusalem Post is absolutely right when he wrote that if Kamala Harris would become the next US President that “Would be a disaster for Israel and for the Jewish people.”
For example, the supreme Ayatollah of Iran ,Khamenei as well as the other Muslim clerics as the ayatollahs and mullahs along with the Muslim members of the Iranian parliament n do naturally favor having Kamala Harris in the Office of the President of the United States. This is because she would continue the policy of appeasement of Joe Biden of giving those despots of Iran everything they demand.
For Kamala Harris ,along with her many of her comrades of the Red /Green alliance that she would fill her administration with would gladly grant that anti America and anti-Israel Islamic regime all provisions that those tyrants clamor for. As the Jewish and Israel hating Islamic tyranny would then use the financial support given to it by Kamala Harris and use that money to obtain many deadly weapons to the it’s proxy jihad murder machine entities and Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad so that that those jihad groups would launch in many murderous Islamic terrorist attacks against the peaceful citizens of the State of Israel.
In addition , that “mullah regime” of Iran would also use that money to send its jihadist operatives through the porous US /Mexican borders ,created by the Biden/Harris team , to engage in future 9/11 murderous jihad affronts across the US.
So, indeed, those hostile and vicious Islamic dictators of Iran will do everything that they are able to do to ensure the Kamala Harris will be the next President of the United States.

We seem to have got the idea from somewhere that not doing what Islamists want is hurtful, and we must of course bend over backwards to avoid being hurtful.
Walter Sieruk says
Kamala Harris , along with her comrades of the Red /Green alliance , are already friendly terms with that murderous jihad entity, Hamas.

up to and including oct.7 jews in america and israel were a ”disaster for israel . ” the left have infested both america and its jews as well as the state of israel . jews have consistently voted for democrats and have now reaped what they have sown and they still have their heads in the sand . yet there are still gormless jews who believe a 2 state solution will stop the actual genocide their muslim neighbours want for all jews everywhere not just israel . congress being a case in point where the likes of blinken , schumer and schiff believe the fiction of 2 states even after reading the hamas charter . you cant fix stupid you can only medicate it , biden being an exception .

I don’t know any leftist that says he/she will accept a Harris loss peacefully, with grace and dignity. November’s horizon is shadowed by dark clouds.

Comrade Kamala is the new face of Hussein O’s Marxist/Islamist commieKKKrat party. If you like the last 12 years of Hussein/Biden junta. You’ll love Hussein/Kamala junta.
