There’s one word that sums up Elizabeth Warren’s presidential strategy.

“Desperation”.

The DNA test, the failed attacks on Trump and now the rapid announcement. Democrats have been telling her not to run. Her big moment might have been 2016, but she blew it. And even then her appeal has always been limited to the people who have since latched on to Bernie.

But somebody’s gotta be the first to jump into the clown car. And so we can look forward to Warren occupying the Hillary position in the race, without the money or front runner status. But at least Trump will have some easy target for his tweets.

And when Warren burns through donor cash and crashes, that will end her career as the big lefty thing.

Once upon a time, Warren was the Ocasio-Cortez of the Dems. Now she’s a few months away from being a has-been.
