You could just as easily end any sentence beginning with “Elizabeth Warren plan” with “fails miserably in real life”. 

While a lot of people do associate the Biden administration with Obama, and indeed there are a ton of Obama’s alumni in there, a good deal of its policies come from Elizabeth Warren’s binders full of “plans”. 

“I’ve got a plan,” the fake Indian racist would shout, and the media gathered to sing her praises, while voters went on ignoring Hillary 2.0.

Of course, Obama’s plans, Warren’s plans, and Biden’s plans all come from the same lefty think tanks which all get their ideas from the same 150 years of socialist failures.

One of Warren’s “plans” was to keep the Post Office alive by turning offices into banks. Considering that the service was failing at its core functions, the idea that it should take on even more challenging and riskier functions was insane. But its unions and Dems happily embraced the idea.

And the unions demanded a test.

The test was carried out and it turns out that no one actually wants to bank where they buy their stamps.

This being David Dayen at the Prospect, the theme of the article is that real post office Communism was never implemented properly. 

Given a choice between acknowledging that nobody wants what they’re selling and doubling down on socialism, the socialists pick the obvious.

Post office banking, like the government running the entire economy, was never properly tried.
