Some “conservative” media personalities have taken to praising Elizabeth Warren. Meanwhile Warren has announced a bold new plan to refocus ICE from fighting illegal migration to catching counterfeit purses.
“I’ll reshape CBP and ICE from top to bottom, focusing their efforts on homeland security efforts like screening cargo, identifying counterfeit goods, and preventing smuggling and trafficking,” Warren vowed in her latest 5-year plan.
100,000 illegal aliens aren’t a homeland security threat. But counterfeit purses are a huge threat.
Then there’s the promise to decriminalize illegal migration packaged with the bizarrely false claim that criminalizing illegal migration has nothing to do with border security.
“Entering the country without authorization has always been a violation of civil immigration law, but thanks to a former segregationist Senator, it’s also a criminal violation. This additional criminal provision is totally unnecessary for border security,” Warren wrote.
Making it a crime to illegally invade America is totally unnecessary for border security? Is Warren channeling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez?
Instead, she goes into a rant about private detention facilities and tries to claim that border security is about making money for private detention centers. That’s like the Marxists who claim that we got into the Cold War to make money for the defense industry.
“As president, I will immediately issue guidance to end criminal prosecutions for simple administrative immigration violations; end Operation Streamline, which subjects migrants to mass prosecutions,” Warren promises, decriminalizing illegal migration and making it next to impossible to deport illegal aliens.
Warren predictably promises amnesty for at least 11 million illegal aliens. Followed by making it easier for illegal aliens to get legal status.
“Repeal the 3- and 10-year bars. The law currently requires a person unlawfully in the United States to depart the country for three or ten years before they can apply for legal status. I’ll petition Congress to repeal that requirement,” Warren says.
And then there’s the promise of mass migration, beyond the huge number we have now, and 175,000 refugees.
“I’ll welcome 125,000 refugees in my first year, and ramping up to at least 175,000 refugees per year by the end of my first term,” Warren promises.
She truly is all about the working class..
