According to Mark Cuban, wokeness is just good business.
Billionaire “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban said companies embracing “woke” ideology is just “good business,” pushing back against those who say it’s adversely affecting their bottom lines.
This is the same argument made for ESG inside and outside corporate spaces. ESG just means listening to employees and consumers, viewing all of society as stakeholders and working to make things better.
Does losing $28 billion count as good business? Woke going broke has just hit the big time.
Social issues are creating a market downdraft for America’s mainstay brands — just ask Target, Anheuser Busch, Kohl’s and their collective $28.7 billion loss in market value since the beginning of April.
And that doesn’t appear to count Disney whose movies have recently been underperforming.
Wokeness isn’t business, it’s ideology. ESG just turns CEOs into political czars. And while a lot of major corps, including monopolies, have embraced wokeness, institutional capture doesn’t demonstrate that it’s good business.
Nearly $29 billion in losses ought to be a wake-up call that CEOs who pursue wokeness are putting politics ahead of their shareholders.

That’s a good point. How far can you push wokeness with propaganda? The Democrats have control of MSM, the schools, everything pretty much. The superficial views of the masses are influenced. But the deep views? Like, what are young ladies interested in mainly? Finding a man and getting married. So even though white men have been demonized to the max for 50 years or so, when those ladies (except for the thoroughly brainwashed) see a handsome, well-dressed white male they go into a swoon, despite all the propaganda. Especially Latinas, they haven’t been brainwashed as thoroughly as the white females. Biology doesn’t change much, despite the propaganda.

Sometimes the contradiction is built right into the mix. Those ‘feminist’ “slut walks,” always end in the local bar district.

Companies used to get sued by investors for such frivolous waste and disregard of the bottom line. Some are realizing the detriment of politicking in business, but few have realized the damage of dei to both workplace cohesion and the bottom line.

ESG is a top down Marxist social credit system for corporations and just one of the heads of the Marxist hydra pushing for a Marxist revolution in the US and the west in general. Others include gender Marxism (trans) race Marxism (CRT, BLM) and general cultural Marxism enforcement (DEI). Just vote with your money and your feet and boycott every company that goes that way.

Somehow, the companies do not care about their bottom line nor their American customers at all. Ive read it has to do with Black rock and other such entities that provide more capital than individual consumers. And thats who controls company boards and insists on woke trans, race, climate agendas.
I don’t quite understand the financial arrangement but there must be an explanation why beer company doesn’t care if we don’t want their beer, movies don’t care if we don’t purchase their movies,etc.. These corporations seem hostile to their customers’ sensibilities and disinterested in customer dollars.
I say boycott for your own conscience. But it doesn’t have the impact we might think it would.

My God, will you people QUIT calling them Democrats please? That’s like calling fresh dog droppings “chocolate ice cream’. They are SOCIALISTS and COMMUNISTS. They hate America. They want to destroy our country.

If you want a job don’t be woke, it’s nothing but a giant joke, makes me want to choke, or maybe take a big ole toke, OK I’m not a poet just an ancient bloke, but hearing this crap I want to croak.
OK I’m all punned out. With apologies to all you good folk. OOPS!
