Does Elon Musk have any clue what he’s gotten himself into? I’m skeptical. It’s easy to kick over a hornet’s nest and then have some fun. Populists and nonconformists do this all the time. The trouble is that the hornets plan, coordinate and swarm. And then you need more than just an attitude and some memes.
You need a plan. Does Musk have a plan? We’ll find out.
Meanwhile, the same machine that the TwitterFiles exposed, which coordinated censorship using a government-media alliance, is swarming over Musk’s Twitter.
After just getting over arguing that shadowbanning is no big deal and that private companies can censor anyone they want to, the EU has now gotten involved after Musk suspended a bunch of media types for, seemingly among other things, distributing real-time information about his location. What he called assassination coordinates.
It’s one thing to censor conservative journalists, but how dare anyone suspend the Left’s hacks?
European Commission vice president Věra Jourová, whose brief includes the rule of law and disinformation, tweeted that the “arbitrary suspension of journalists on Twitter is worrying.”
“EU’s Digital Services Act requires respect of media freedom and fundamental rights. This is reinforced under our #MediaFreedomAct,” she wrote. “@elonmusk should be aware of that. There are red lines. And sanctions, soon.”
Do people have the right to fundamental rights? Or just the media.
Other criticism on Friday came from the German foreign ministry, which took to Twitter to warn the company that it takes freedom of the press seriously.
“Freedom of the press must not be switched on and off at will,” it tweeted. “As of today, the journalists below can no longer follow, comment or criticize us. We have a problem with that @Twitter.”
So is posting to Twitter a right or not?
The Euros have decided to claim that it is. Or at least they’ve very selectively decided to claim that it’s a right for media outlets that they agree with.
Is that how rights work now?
I don’t know if Musk has a plan, but this train wreck is certainly laying bare the hypocrisy and the abuses of the leftist ruling class.
The ruling class of today, whether left or right, are creating far more problems for themselves and everybody else, than they will ever have answers for. In the end, they will lose everything they have or thought they would ever have.
The one they lose all to, will have absolutely, no, mercy, on them.
This EU needs a reminder about who actually protects them, and it is a pity that President Trump only talk about removing it.
Being engaged once to an Belgian citizen was a quick experience in a life of bending the knee and kissing the ring of some EU provincial VIP, and the vast assuming mind-set present. Same here with this one. Musk is cleaning house, and it is a wonderful thing.
And the Belgian citizen didn’t understand the break-up, but frankly there was never any understanding of what an American man is in these people.
Yeah, the EUcrats seem to take sadistic pleasure in ruining marriages between EU citizens and American citizens.
Don’t care about elon musk. He promised to reinstate all those who had been banned. And yet, here I am banned despite having asked many times to be reinstated. I guess I’m more dangerous than Baked Alaska and laura loomer.

If you did not scream when Trump was banned by twitter, consider yourself a hypocrite.
It may have been a Twitter employee who suggested to Musk that detailing a person’s whereabouts is dangerous thing and Musk saw the sense in that. Or maybe a Twitter attorney saw the potential for liability suits if someone did get hurt from a post of someone’s location. and Musk saw the sense in that opinion. Does anyone really have to post where someone else is? What would be the motive behind that?
Do conservatives have any political representation?
Interrogator: Now then, there are two types of confession. We call them toothpaste and water tap. The toothpaste prisoner needs to be squeezed every now and then or else he forgets to keep confessing. The water tap man needs one good hard twist before he starts. But then everything comes out.
I hereby utilize the same authority that the EU has over a US private company to declare that from now to evermore, all may ignore their words, whimsical declarations and authoritative trash with 0 legally binding repercussions . This declaration is of course retroactive in nature and extends to the EU’s inception.
