Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from 1984 to 2023, has authored “HIV and COVID-19: Shared Lessons From Two Pandemics.” By “HIV,” readers should know, Fauci means “HIV/AIDS,” which fails to qualify as a pandemic.
Back in the 1980s Fauci contended that AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) could be spread by simple family contact and would ravage the general population. As Michael Fumento noted in The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS, the syndrome never moved beyond male homosexuals, hemophiliacs and intravenous drug users in any significant measure. More important, the origins of COVID-19 and AIDS were both a matter of dispute.
In 1983 Luc Montagnier, director of the Viral Oncology Unit at the Pasteur Institute, discovered the human immunodeficiency virus, better known as HIV. That came to the attention of Fauci, who earned a medical degree in 1966 but in 1968 took a cushy “yellow beret” job with the National Institutes of Health. Fauci’s bio showed no advanced degrees in biochemistry or molecular biology but in 1984 the NIH made him director of NIAID, where he flagged HIV as the sole cause of AIDS. Medical scientists much more qualified that Dr. Fauci didn’t agree.
Harvard molecular biologist Charles Thomas, biochemist and Nobel laureate Kary Mullis, and UC Berkeley molecular biologist Peter Duesberg – a member of the National Academy of Sciences and recipient of an Outstanding Investigator grant – had never seen a retrovirus with such destructive capabilities.
“What kind of virus,” Duesberg wondered, “one day, out of nowhere, springs into action to destroy a person’s immune system with no provocation?” Never had a retrovirus been shown to cause a human disease, or even a disease in animals. Nobel laureate Walter Gilbert found “no animal model for AIDS,” and Dr. Harvey Bialy, scientific editor of Biotechnology, could locate “no pathogenic relative” for the virus. Some 40 years later, here’s how Dr. Fauci spins it:
“Several years after the discovery of AIDS, Peter Duesberg, a prominent molecular virologist from the University of California at Berkeley, claimed that HIV was not the cause, but that the syndrome was the result of noninfectious factors such as recreational and pharmaceutical drug use and sexual promiscuity unrelated to the virus. He was joined in AIDS denialism by other prominent scientists including Kary Mullis, who won the 1993 Nobel Prize in chemistry for his invention of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique. It was remarkable that these scientists made claims based on no credible scientific information and in the face of copious amounts of scientific evidence that negated their assertions.”
Kary Mullis also contended that Dr. Fauci “doesn’t understand electronic microscopy and he doesn’t understand medicine. He should not be in a position like he’s in.” The unqualified NIAID boss did not attempt to debate Mullis, Thomas or any member of the Group for the Scientific Reappraisal of the HIV/AIDS Hypothesis. Dr. Fauci simply denounced these scientists as “AIDS denialists” and did not stop there. As Duesberg explained in Inventing the AIDS Virus, Fauci worked behind the scenes to cancel his media appearances and targeted his NIH grants. That hindered the cancer research that brought Duesberg to UC Berkeley in the first place.
In 2024, Dr. Fauci has it exactly backwards. It was the NIAID boss who failed to show “copious scientific evidence” that HIV is the sole cause of AIDS. His new paper fails to cite any peer reviewed, replicated study confirming that causation, and avoids an Italian study on “non-HIV AIDS.” The evasive bureaucrat, now 83, is still quick to point the finger.
President Ronald Reagan, “failed to use the bully pulpit to call attention of the American public to an emerging epidemic that disproportionately affected young men who have sex with men.” Dr. Fauci does not explain that the young men’s “recreational and pharmaceutical drug use and sexual promiscuity” included massive ingestion of the butyl and amyl nitrites known as “poppers,” which suppress the immune system and can cause severe injury or death. See How to Have Sex in an Epidemic, by Joseph Sonnabend MD, Michael Callen and Richard Berkowitz. For more detail see And the Band Played On: Politics, People and the AIDS Epidemic, by Randy Shilts.
Dr. Fauci did not understand medicine so no surprise that his drug of choice to treat AIDS was AZT, a DNA chain terminator abandoned as a cancer treatment during the 1960s because of excessive toxicity. See Poison by Prescription: The AZT Story by John Lauritsen, endorsed by, among others, UC Berkeley molecular biologist Harry Rubin. See also The Real Anthony Fauci, in which Robert F. Kennedy Jr. exposes Fauci’s campaign to force AZT and other dangerous drugs on foster children, with disastrous results. The lessons unlearned would come to the fore in the COVID-19 pandemic.
In January of 2017, Fauci proclaimed there was “no doubt” President Trump would face a surprise infectious disease outbreak. In 2019, Fauci funded China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct dangerous gain-of-function research, previously banned in the United States, which makes viruses more lethal and transmissible. What the CDC’s Dr. Nancy Messonnier described as a “novel virus” duly made its way to the United States.
Fauci maintained that COVID-19 virus emerged naturally in the wild and spread to humans, in medical jargon, “zoonotic.” Other medical scientists detected a laboratory origin but instead of engaging in debate, Fauci smeared them as “conspiracy theorists,” a variant of his slanders of the AIDS dissidents. In 2024, the former NIAID boss piles it on.
“Misinformation and disinformation have been rampant during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Fauci now claims, “and were made worse by online platforms that amplify untruths faster than any other time in history, some of them spread by well-funded bad-faith actors. From a public health standpoint, this has been particularly damaging with hesitancy to accept the safe and highly effective COVID-19 vaccines.”
For Fauci, “misinformation and disinformation” mean any departure from his own views. The medical scientists of the Great Barrington Declaration, most if not all more qualified than Fauci, challenged his lockdown policies, particularly on schools. As with the AIDS dissenters, Fauci did not debate these scientists. Fauci attacked them as “fringe epidemiologists” and they faced censorship of their social media posts.
As readers in 2024 should note, the allegedly “safe and highly effective” vaccines failed to prevent infection or transmission of COVID, which the fully boosted Fauci confirmed by contracting COVID himself. The NIAID boss recommended the ineffective vaccines even for children, the least vulnerable group. Recall that Pfizer wanted their vaccine components kept secret for 75 years, but a judge ordered release. See The Pfizer Papers, edited by Naomi Wolf.
By 2020, Fauci’s medical training was more than 50 years out of date and he was nothing more than an overpaid government bureaucrat. Even so, in 2021 the NIAID boss proclaimed that “attacks on me, quite frankly, are attacks on science,” which casts his “shared lessons” in a curious light. Dr. Fauci is a certified megalomaniac, but there’s a method to his madness.
“It has been firmly established that the origin of HIV is zoonotic,” Fauci proclaims, without showing how that has been established by any replicated study. In effect, Fauci is working backwards, applying his false claim for COVID to HIV. But Fauci is also looking ahead.
“Our experiences with HIV/AIDS and COVID-19 and many other zoonotic diseases underscore the importance of expanding pathogen surveillance at interfaces between humans, domestic animals and wildlife.” That makes a case for more “surveillance” by government health agencies, and more power for those who run them.
“COVID-19 has shown a bright light on how the social determinants of health lead to disparities in incidents and severities of disease,” writes Dr. Fauci, with no scientific explanation of these “social determinants.” The NIAID boss also invokes the “disproportionate disease burden among underserved populations,” which government health agencies also must rectify. So “policies are needed to ensure universal, equitable and affordable health coverage.”
Dr. Fauci thus makes the case for government monopoly health care. With the state calling the shots, and many diseases proclaimed “zoonotic,” health bosses can lay down mandates with no scientific verification, as Dr. Fauci modeled during the COVID pandemic. In 2021, the same year he claimed to represent science, Dr. Fauci told a Montreal audience:
“I think what people have to appreciate is that indeed, you do have personal liberties for yourself and you should be in control of that. But you are a member of society, and as a member of society — reaping all the benefits of being a member of society — you have a responsibility to society. And I think each of us, particularly in the context of a pandemic that’s killing millions of people, you have got to look at it and say there comes a time when you do have to give up what you consider your individual right of making your own decision, for the greater good of society.”
There is the totalitarian ethos, plain and simple, all part of the white coat supremacy regime Fauci envisions. Government health bosses in power for life, issuing mandates that can’t be questioned, mandating untested vaccines that everybody must accept or lose their job, and so on. The people have seen this horror movie, and the people now boast powerful allies.
“With COVID-19, the role of political leadership at the highest level – or the lack thereof – was shown to be critical,” writes Fauci. “Donald Trump frequently minimized the seriousness of the pandemic.” Actually he didn’t, and the people have once again elected Donald Trump as president of the United States. President Trump’s choice to lead Health and Human Services is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. author of The Real Anthony Fauci.
In his cover endorsement, Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier proclaims: “Dr. Joseph Goebbels wrote that ‘a lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.’ Tragically for humanity, there are many, many untruths emanating from Dr. Fauci and his minions. RFK Jr. exposes the decades of lies.” If confirmed for HHS, RFK Jr. can continue the exposure, but not alone.
President Trump’s choice to head the National Institutes of Health is Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor of medicine at Stanford and co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration. When that emerged, Obama NIH boss Francis Collins deployed Fauci for a “quick and devastating takedown” of the GBD scientists, who found their views censored from social media.
President Trump’s choice to run the Centers for Disease Control is U.S. Army veteran David Weldon, a physician, former congressman and critic of the CDC and its vaccine policies. Dr. Weldon can look into former CDC official Dr. Nancy Messonnier, first to announce that a “novel virus” had arrived stateside from Wuhan.
Dr. Messonnier is a veteran of the CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service, tasked to prevent dangerous viruses from arriving on American soil. The intrepid EIS “disease detectives” failed to prevent the “novel” COVID virus from spreading to America and around the world. Weldon should find out what Dr. Messonnier knew, when she knew it, and what she is hiding.
As Weldon may know, Dr. Messonnier is the sister of Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who tapped Robert Mueller to investigate the bogus charge that Trump colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. For coincidence theorists it’s all happenstance, but the people have cause to wonder. Weldon might bring in Pam Bondi, President Trump’s pick for Attorney General, to probe the DOJ for details. Bondi could also lend a hand to RFK Jr. and Dr. Bhattacharya, who face a monumental task: the dismantling of white coat supremacy.
Never again should a megalomaniac Lysenko figure like Anthony Fauci – unqualified for his job in the first place – be allowed total control of any government health agency for decades. Never again should one person wield executive-level power with no accountability and without ever facing the voters. Never again should a single person, or the same group of bureaucrats, control public health policy and spending on medical research. Separation of those powers is a cause of Dr. Bhattacharya, who also earned a PhD in economics.
As the Trump picks should know, the time for kindness is long passed, and the time for payback is here. Investigate Fauci, Collins, Messonnier et al for as long as it takes, and bring criminal charges wherever necessary. The end of white coat supremacy will be a win for the people moving forward.

Lloyd, Thank you for the hard hitting expose of the incompetent, greedy & deadly evil imp, Fauxi. Have but one objection: “…to force AZT and other dangerous drugs on foster children, with disastrous results….” Are you afraid of this has-been apparatchik? Fauxi killed dozens of the black/brown foster kids w/ the toxic AZT drug. He should be in jail since the 1980s.
You should’ve state that instead of the wimpy, ‘disastrous results.’ Just saying.

Academic Mediocrity forever. Rule by pseud-scientists with lustrous academic credentials, masking the fact that they are mediocre careerists. Like Nazi Germany, the careerists hopped on the Nazi train to further their careers.
Algorithmic Analyst says
Notice the most outstanding scientists criticized Fauci. The most outstanding scientists are the ones worth listening to, there are lots of mediocre pseudo-scientists below them who are mainly just careerists. The careerists often try to sabotage the results of better scientists, in order to make the careerists own research seem more important and further their careers, something the public doesn’t know about. Academic back-stabbing.

You missed out a word before ‘sexual’ and that is ‘anal’.

My MD, a humble General Practitioner, went to med school in Nigeria, his home country. Med schools there are not funded by Big Pharma, so his take on health is patient-centered. rather than drug related. I’m very healthy and he didn’t think I needed a Vax.
The day I told him that the CEO of Pfizer had Covid, he had a huge laugh.. Everyone should have an MD like this.
Kaycee says
But did Fauci really take the jab?? Methinks not. It is time he get put on live tv where he is jabbed with the Covid shot and every single one of the boosters, all at the same sitting. I wonder what kind of reaction he would have. While we’re at it, put everyone who agreed with these mandates on our citizens up with him to get all of theirs.
