The “divine”?
What precisely do you mean by the divine? Even among Christians and Jews the divine does not mean precisely the same thing to each individual Christian or Jew.
But if by the divine you mean the highest and noblest achievement possible to an individual that still doesn’t leave us with a clear, precise, and above all rational definition of the divine.
Highest and noblest achievement according to what standard of morality? A rational standard or an irrational standard?
The Muslim kills infidels in the name of pleasing the divine and reaching the divine. And he is convinced that he is acting divinely morally and divinely inspired. And will be divinely rewarded. But is the jihadist actually acting rationally?

Yes, the divine. Got a problem with that? Tough sh*t.
Without divine inspiration we would not have all of the wonderful Medieval and Renaissance composers who wrote the Lutheran, Anglican and Catholic masses. Bach wrote, on the first page of everything he composed, “to the Glory of God”. Mozart was divinely inspired when he wrote his Requiem. Handel was divinely inspired when he wrote Messiah. Who or what inspired Rand when she penned Atlas Shrugged?
I haven’t even mentioned the artists and architects who worked on the paintings and cathedrals that atheist leftists work overtime to deface.
And, as much as you hate it, the hand of God was there during the first Trump assassination attempt.
I can only imagine the horrible grey world you and your idiot girlfriend would have created if atheism had become the law of the land. Think of those black and white photos of Cold War East Berlin. That is the world of Objectivism. You can whine and moan about the ELCA all you want, Lutherans aren’t going anywhere. You can whine and moan about all of the crap that obsesses you. Normal Americans never think about the garbage you are concerned with.
The pope’s “Christianity” is communism in disguise… no doubt.
