Awkward, but running a rainbow coalition is challenging. Black people initially dissented from the LGBTQ movement. Lefties ignored the problem and waited for them to come around. They figure Muslims are the same way and they can just outwait them. But that won’t work. Islam is not just a set of cultural attitudes. And while Islamists post-9/11 played the damsel in distress, the rainbow coalition is now getting a dose of reality.
After hours of debate and hearing from residents, Hamtramck City Council has passed the resolution to ban LGBTQ+ Pride flags unanimously.
Hamtramck is the first majority-Muslim city in America. And the LGBTQ movement clashes with Islam.
Some members of the all-Muslim council said the pride flag clashes with the beliefs of some members of their faith.
Bad news for diversity.
Hayley Cain said she chose to live in Hamtramck after moving from California because it was known as a diverse community.
“I’m questioning whether it is. … The pride flag represents making space for all humans on all the spectrums, and this is where we’re going as a human species,” Cain said. “You can’t stop that.”
How is a majority Muslim city diverse? It’s the opposite of diverse.
Dawud Walid, director of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a civil rights advocacy group, said Hamtramck’s strict flag policy doesn’t discriminate against anyone.
“If there was one group that was not being granted access to something while others were then we would have a problem,” Walid said.
He said some Muslims who oppose an LGBTQ+ flag are no different than conservative members of other religions with similar views.
“Flags carry symbolism. Those symbols carry social and political messages,” Walid said.
Indeed they do.
The council voted unanimously to display only five flags, including the American flag, the Michigan flag and one that represents the native countries of immigrant residents.
Islamic flags tend to represent Islamic ideas and ideals.
The media hailed the first all-Muslim city as a positive development. But its leaders predictably want to enforce Islamic doctrines and values. Not American ones. The Left was fine as long as these involved things they considered abstractions, but in a conflict between Islamists and drag queens, who wins?
Dems and their media will try hard to ignore these developments, but the culture war is incompatible with the Jihad.

Look up alphabet ‘pride month’ festivities in Deerborn, MI. No alphabet parades or festivals, no drag shows for their kiddies, and no protests or marches over it. I’m for goading the left into trying to do something about it, and then making some popcorn and watching the show..
I have no doubt other changes will take place based on the Islam religion in Hamtramck. Remember, in many Muslim organizations in Europe, and the United States have stated that it is their agenda to turn America and Europe into Islamic countries.

Islam is, like herpes, a gift that just keeps on giving – and many also among the right will learn this truth in time. As indeed will many in the left will too. And all these folks will have paid for this lesson thinking that you can work with Muslims on some common cause.

Thanks. A polite but direct analogy of the rush to an common cause with Islam that so many have done. Islam is Islam. There is no ‘good’ Islam; Islam is simply what it has been from the start. And yet – countless many people will lack the understanding that you get so much more when whoring with Islam.
And yes – I say whoring. I can’t say that I am surprised by this stirring of what – (connection?) that some find with Islam’s opposition to this transgender stuff. I am disgusted by it too. However, I will not link arms with Muslims on any account. I know that the connection brings more than I want. Islam is Islam, and there is no changing it. At it’s core – it hasn’t changed. It won’t change for any partnership formed. Those are useful idiots who open the city gates. They turn will come with it after the use is over.

It strikes me as a bit odd that the Muslim community rejects LGBTQ symbols, flags, parades, and ideology given that the vast majority of Muslims voted for both BO and Joe Biden. BO was the President who bathed the White House in rainbow colors back in the day. Seems like they would have turned on BO back in 2012 since that’s when BO ‘came out of the closet’ – I mean, in the figurative sense. of course.

Gay Palestinian Man Under Asylum in Israel Beheaded in Palestinian Territor
A gay Palestinian man who was living under asylum in Israel was allegedly kidnapped and brought to the West Bank, where he was beheaded Wednesday, according to Israeli media reports.
Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh, 25, had reportedly been living in Israel for two years and seeking resettlement to Canada because of threats to his life over his sexual orientation. But on Wednesday, Abu Murkhiyeh was beheaded in the West Bank city of Hebron. The victim’s friends told media outlets he was kidnapped from Israel and taken to the Palestinian city, though his family said he regularly visited them in Hebron.
It always made me wonder about groups like Queers for Palestine that didn’t understand that if they went there and to many islamic countries something like this was likely to happen. How could they support them?

It appears that whatever the Mohammedan does it’s not good enough. Where are the American Jewish community blocking sodomites from promoting sodomy in the USA (many Jews in Congress and Government, as well as in media, and other places – promoting deviancy, etc.?
Whereas, you will usually *not* find sodomites promoting their deviant behaviour in countries predominantly Islamic, it is a sad fact that many so-called ‘Jews’ in Jerusalem promote so-called ‘gay pride’ parades in the Holy land. I recall reading about one ultra-Orthodox Jew, Yishai Schlissel, who stabbed several sodomites (and killed one 16 years old girl) in a supposed ‘gay pride’ parade in Israel in 2015 (released after 10 years for apparently stabbing someone at a ‘pride’ parade in 2005). In reality the Jew who is under the Mosaic Law is obliged to undertake certain actions to keep their nation clean. Yet, Yishai Schlissel is apparently the criminal.
The author of the article, presumably a Jew, states: ‘its [Muslim] leaders predictably want to enforce Islamic doctrines and values. Not American ones.’ What are these so-called ‘American values’? America today is a cesspit of filth, violence, drug abuse, etc. It once arguably held to Christian values, but that is no longer the case.
