The Senator from CBS would like to destroy the village to save the village. And make sure that the village is overrun by illegal aliens who will keep Democrats coming out of Arizona.

Former Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) said Thursday that he would rather see a Democrat win in 2020 than have President Trump elected to a second term.

Flake was asked what the GOP should do if Trump remains the nominee.

“You sacrifice a generation, and you think, ‘Man, we might get some policy goals in the next year or two,'” Flake said. But he hoped the party took a longer view.

“Look at the long term. Look at the long term, at what you’re doing for the party, because people don’t want to be associated with it,” he added.

Which people?

The longer view being the same defeatist view of betting on going leftward just in time to seem reactionary to the latest generation which has gone even further leftward because there’s no counterargument being made to the radical argument.

But, by all means, we must save the GOP by losing to the Democrats. Flake’s pretty good at that brand of saving the GOP from winning.
