Visit David Horowitz Freedom Center School for Political Warfare.
The David Horowitz Center has put up a new site which highlights the fact that we are a School of Political Warfare. It explains how the Freedom Center is unique among conservative think tanks whose emphasis is on public policy and institutional reform in that it sees its role as that of a battle tank, geared to fight a war that many still don’t recognize. The new site offers a guide and links to all of the Center’s websites and programs.
For 27 years, since its founding in 1988, the Freedom Center has been warning that the political left has declared war on America and its constitutional system, and is willing to collaborate with America’s enemies abroad and criminals at home to bring America down. For most of those years the Center was a voice crying in the wilderness with few willing to recognize the threat from the enemy within, a fifth column force that was steadily expanding its influence within the Democratic Party. With the election of a lifetime radical to the White House in 2008, the perceptions of conservatives began to change. But the Center remains unique as an organization dedicated to the war and to developing strategies to win it.
Our new site clearly spells out the Center’s mission: to defend free societies which are under attack from enemies within and without, both secular and religious. The Center’s focus and the School’s curriculum have two agendas:
1. Identify the enemy and understand his nature.
2. Devise ways to attack and neutralize him.
The Center has set up multiple websites and programs to pursue these agendas:
To identify the enemies of America and free societies generally, the Center has created a unique online encyclopedia of the Left providing profiles of leftist organizations and individuals, and providing explanations of their over-arching sinister agendas, which are often concealed behind universally appealing values such as peace and justice. The encyclopedia is accessible at DiscovertheNetworks.org and has been an indispensable source for scores of books – including Stanley Kurtz’s definitive portrait of Obama’s radicalism, Radical in Chief, and Aaron Klein’s The Manchurian President – and thousands of articles. It has been a much-used source for Fox News Channel producers and has been a palpable influence on the rightward shift of the O’Reilly Factor on key issues like race.
Robert Spencer is one of the leading experts on jihadist Islam. He has written 10 books on the subject and heads Jihad Watch, a flagship program of the Center.
Caroline Glick is a reporter for the Jerusalem Post and the foremost conservative analyst of the conflict in the Middle East. She heads the Center’s Israel Security Project.
Dr. Jamie Glazov edits frontpagemag.com which features the work of Daniel Greenfield, one of the boldest and most insightful writers on both the Islamist and domestic threats. FrontPage features Daniel’s blog The Point and some of the best conservative authors who daily offer a wealth of information on the war at home and abroad.
Film writer Mark Tapson manages TruthRevolt, a Center site that attracts 2.5 million visitors a month and introduces them to a battle many are not yet aware of.
Sara Dogan manages the Center’s Stop the Jihad on Campus site, which leads a campaign to raise student awareness about the Islamic jihad, and to combat the pro-terrorist propaganda of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood which has become a familiar presence on American campuses.
BlackBookoftheAmericanLeft.com
The Center’s site Black Book of the American Left contains the collected writings of David Horowitz in 10 volumes. It contains a record as complete as any likely to be written of the struggle to resist the Left and its destructive agendas.

In the Art of Political War and Take No Prisoners, David offers a strategy for fighting and neutralizing the leftist assault, a formula which is reflected in the subjects and style of the articles on FrontPage, whose motto is: “Inside every liberal is a totalitarian screaming to get out.” Thus all of the Center’s multiple websites and programs are vehicles for identifying the enemy and understanding his nature, and developing ways to fight back.
We are proud to introduce our readers to our new site, David Horowitz Freedom Center School for Political Warfare, and to its guide and links to all of the Center’s websites and programs. Make sure to visit!
