While the IDF continues to provide safe corridors for civilians fleeing from Khan Yunis, Hamas operatives try to hold them back, for they are the human shields Hamas relies on to discourage IDF attacks. Now Gazans are openly expressing their anger with Hamas, which wants to keep them imperiled, and also has been appropriating much of the humanitarian aid that has been trucked into the Strip. The IDF has established a humanitarian corridor in recent days for Palestinian residents of western Khan Yunis to move from combat areas to the town of Al-Mawasi in southwestern Gaza, IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on Saturday.
Adraee said that Gazan residents would be safe in Al-Mawasi and that the corridor has been opened to evacuate civilians every day so that the IDF can focus on fighting the Hamas terrorist organization and deepening its incursion into Khan Yunis without the risk of civilians being injured in the process.
Tens of thousands of Gazans have already passed through this corridor safely, according to the spokesperson.
Adraee also quoted a number of Gazan civilians passing through the corridor, who informed IDF soldiers that Hamas was preventing them from leaving combat areas, using threats and violence. Additionally, IDF soldiers were also assisting civilians at the scene, including the elderly and sick.
The humanitarian corridor remains open until 4 p.m. for residents to cross over to Al-Mawasi.
“The people want to topple Hamas,” can be heard from the Palestinian civilians chanting.
COGAT official Major-General Rasan Aliyan said that “In recent days, we see more and more evidence of public criticism voiced by the residents of Gaza against the terrorist organization Hamas. The residents of the Gaza Strip rightly prefer their well-being and the safety of their children over the continued military strengthening of Hamas and the terrorist activities that harm them and their future.”
Palestinians were also seen evacuating from the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis on Friday, with COGAT stating that “Hamas operates from and around the Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals. The systematic use of hospitals across Gaza by Hamas has been documented, including Hamas shooting a rocket from within the hospital….
Hamas uses hospitals as places where it can hide both weapons and fighters, and from which its operatives can launch rocket, RPG, and machine-gun attacks on Israeli soldiers. It is critical that civilians remain in them, acting as human shields, and limiting the IDF’s freedom to search and destroy.
The IDF has established a safe corridor for Gazan civilians who wish at this point to leave the areas in and around the last two hospitals — Nasser and Al-Amal Hospitals — that are still functioning in Khan Yunis. The IDF is cooperating with medical staff in order that both hospitals can remain open and accessible to those needing treatment.
Gazans are finally daring to speak out against the real cause of their misery — Hamas. It is not only that Hamas tries to prevent civilians from fleeing to safety, in order that they remain as human shields – it even kills some Gazans in flight to discourage others from attempting to do the same. Equally enraging to Gazan civilians, Hamas also retains control of the humanitarian aid — food and medicine — that donors send for the people of Gaza. Hamas appropriates much of that aid for itself, and what its operatives don’t use for themselves is sold on the black market. Aid meant to be free is instead sold at high prices to desperate civilians, with Hamas pocketing the profits.
That is why the civilians fleeing Khan Yunis have been shouting “Down with Hamas”and “The people want to topple Hamas.” And, with help from the IDF, they will.
This story is a perfect example of why violence is NECESSARY for civilized people to be able to maintain their civilization.
Palestinians would never renounce Hamas if it were not for the fact that they are now seeing their own destruction due to their terroristic behavior.

Let’s not forget how many “innocent civilians” in Gaza gleefully participated in the mutilation of Israeli bodies once Israelis, both dead and alive, were brought inside the Strip, and that overwhelming numbers of Gazans confessed their support for Hamas and its annihilatory aims toward Israel shortly after October 7. In the wake of the Strip’s devastation and Hamas’s apparent indifference to the misery of the local population, entirely the fault of Hamas, support for Hamas may have diminished, but the Gazan’s shared wish to exterminate Israel and its Jews remains deep-seated and probably ineradicable. Hamas may have lost support from the average Gazan, but that support has been transferred to secondary groups who have the same annihilatory objectives, such as Islamic Jihad.or Lion’s Den. I weep not for those in Gaza.
Agree. Deradicalization like Denazification after WWII is the only possible moral response. I’m not saying it will work 100% or be easy but start by eliminating UNWRA schools that teach hate and murder to the little ones. I’d eliminate the UN and other such Jew-hate institutions. The problems of Islam, the religion itself, I leave to others. IMO Israeli Jews and others must resettle Gaza. It was Jewish land for centuries and should be open to Jews again. I wish Egypt would open its border so those Gazans who want to leave could do so. That would eradicate the world’s vicious trap for `Gazans to play a victim card and so smear Israel, perpetuating Nazi-like hate.
Deradicalization cannot occur without Islam itself being repudiated. Since this is unrealistic, alternatives have to be found to protect Israelis. Someone (I forget who) recently proposed that a buffer zone be created between the Gazan and Israeli border, constantly patrolled by the IDF…a no man’s land, in effect, wide enough to prevent any future invasions by murderous Gazans.
This is already being prepared. Buildings within that zone are being bulldozed. The tragic loss of 21 soldiers in one day was as a result of an attack by Hamas on a building that was prepared for demolition.
Islamic wars are regarded as Allah-ordained wars that do not allow deals with Allah.
Such wars can only be
stopped by destroying the Islamic depraved psychopathic murderers.
The Western method of fighting such wars, based on stopping hostilities through negotiations and treaties,
does not work here. Belief in the Western “progressive” resolution of such conflicts is an illusion, just
wishful thinking. This illusion does not dissipate despite the chain reaction of violence against Israel in
the Middle East and its affiliates on other continents since October 7, 2023.

I doubt that many Israelis are delusional enough to think that the Gazans suddenly love them. Let’s remember that these same Gazans voted for Hamas, and many of them participated in the october pogrom. You reap what you sow.

What’s stopping them?
Just saw on news, Biden has developed “The Biden Doctrine”, yet another two state solution that will fail. This guy has no clue what he’s doing.
Well….. HE is not doing anything….. He is a marianette and the moo slims running his white house are making all the decisions for him….. He just drinks, sniffs hair, mumbles, and eats ice cream.
Barack Obama and Valarie Jarrett are running the show. If Obama were ended Joe’s lips would stop moving.
What they say and what they do are two different, often opposite, things.
One must know islamic culture to understand them, lying is a way of life.
They say death to ham-ass so they won’t be targeted by Israelis. When ham-ass is around they’d say the opposite.
