The oligarchs, and rulers only care about power, privilege, and wealth, not human beings.
Putin doesn’t have a conscience. Putin has results. Conscience is the altar Americans and the West sacrifice to. Putin knows that. Americans pretend they don’t.
And if you want argue with Putin he has some radioactive waste for you.
I mean if we’re going to give Putin his due by crediting him with conscience then let’s at least mention that he understands the West better than the West understands itself.
Putin loses no sleep over collateral damage. Putin only loses sleep over power exchanges.
Not directed at you Jamie but this is the stupidity of the West wrapped up in an enigma that doesn’t translate beyond borders.
Actually it can and wants to be understood on very basic terms. The more basic the better.
When you get the basics right you can build up from there but not before.
It’s not the case that the house of cards that the West has built is some sort of new basic foundation. That Tower of Babel is only basic on paper.
Putin’s conscience? Come on, their conscience is the first thing sacrificed by fascist leaders on their way to gain power.
