This trans movement must be a leftist tactic to create special minority groups that need protection from the Democrat cartel. I watched a Law and Order eisode about deaf people who thought they were a special group that had to stick together. One of the members killed a surgeon who was going to restore hearing to his sister. The deaf young man wanted her to always be deaf so they could solidarize. The operated or chemically altered young person ceases to be a normal person and enters a grievance group, an identity group apart and looks to leftists to protect them. Someone I know insisted there are huge numbers of trans people, and anyone who opposes gender affirming therapy and special status for transpeople is bigoted, fascist, lacking compassion, narrow minded. Just like Trump! A bigot! That is the degree of fanaticism that is taught today in universities, schools, entertainment and leftist culture in general. Every aspect of culture and society has to become marked by leftist ideology so that one can never escape its influence.
