I can easily envisage a WW3 scenario that quickly turns into nuclear war ; Here is how …
Ukraine is going to lose ; FACT , but all that is in doubt is how long it will take to collapse
, and when it does the West are going to be faced by a dilemma of having to retreat in a more embarrassing debacle that Afghanistan, OR, reinforcing failure and intervening directly, somewhat similar to what they did in Kosovo back in 1999 with air power
If it’s an intervention then that will be the fatal and final red line these educated fools cross as Putin will quickly destroy all NATO forces on his border, and in Germany like Ramstein AFB, with tactical nuclear bombs ….THEN they will make it clear that the next salvo goes to western cities !
The West will become hysterical, then dissolve into a puddle of self pity before pleading for ”peace” . And that is how the Russians win WW3 in 2-3 days without the West even daring to fire off a nuke of their own .
The fact is that we are no longer the West of the Cold WAr era, and the Russians know it !
.Consequently, they have our number and correctly assume that we lack the moral fibre to engage in nuclear poker and brinkmanship, and will fold when faced with a crisis . This is the gambit the Russians will make !
I agree, BT. I don’t know how Putin can be a degenerate or a coward. Putin came from Soviet poverty, became a lawyer, then a KGB agent. He was posted to East Germany. The man isn’t stupid. Yes, he’s a dictator, but he is his own dictator. Ukraine is run by corrupt clowns.
He’d be doing us a favour so probably not.
