It’s early this month and that means that it must be time to hype the latest jobs report.
Robust job growth in May once again exceeds expectations – MSNBC
Key takeaways from the blowout May jobs report – CNN
How about we skip the “key takeaways” and look to see which sectors are leading the blowout robust economy?
In May, employment continued to trend up in several industries, led by health care; government; leisure and hospitality; and professional, scientific, and technical services.
It’s always great news when your robust economy is being led by increases in… government and health care (which is heavily subsidized by the government.)
Health care added 68,000 jobs and government added 43,000 jobs making them by far the most “robust” sectors of this economy.
Next up in leisure and hospitality as businesses add temporary jobs to prepare for the vacation season.
The only two other notable sectors that had job growth were “professional, scientific, and technical services” and that reliable barometer of a robust economy… welfare.
Get ready for this blowout.
Social assistance employment continued to trend up in May (+15,000), primarily in individual and family services (+11,000). Over the prior 12 months, social assistance had added an average of 22,000 jobs per month.
Just in time for the fake hype, I dissected in today’s article how the Dems had faked job growth.
Along with health care, welfare continues to be the leading source of Biden’s job growth. These are not the signs of a healthy economy, but a faltering socialist economy faking its job growth.
The Biden administration’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services had begun aggressively promoting an expansion in home health care workers last year and it’s paying off. Last year, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra boasted of having handed out $37 billion from the badly misnamed ‘American Rescue Plan’ for home based services and enhanced Medicaid funding.
Democrat states took advantage of COVID measures and Biden funding to increase their workforces. The home health care workforce more than doubled in Illinois, increased vastly in California, and Wisconsin used pandemic funding to expand its home health care program.
Rather than creating private sector jobs, Biden and the Democrats are creating government-funded private sector jobs some of which, like those in New York City, are not even jobs at all.
By boosting Medicaid spending and other forms of welfare assistance, Biden and the Democrats faked a jobs boom and an economic expansion that doesn’t actually exist.
With total Medicaid spending of over $800 billion and overall welfare spending that is too vast to even capture, the Biden administration, along with state and city governments, took us deep into debt to manufacture a recovery without actually doing anything more than padding out the union and welfare rolls that provide them with their voting base.
All the hype can’t change the everyday economic realities for most Americans, but a sector of liberal fanboys inhabiting their own echo chamber keep believing that Bidenomics is working.
Jeff Bargholz says
We all know “Bidenomics” is a pejorative.
David Elstrom says
In the central tyranny’s lying statistics this growth in government jobs is counted as a positive, but of course it is really a drain because Big Brother has to steal it (via taxation or inflation) or borrow it to pay these workers.
Algorithmic Analyst says
Yeah, that’s one thing I look at when reading history, how raising taxes or inflation affects the economy.
World@70 says
Spending taxpayer dollars in attempts to boost their own popularity is an old standby for Dems and especially for Joe Biden. This is nothing but more Biden lies. Claiming job growth by adding more and more burden on tax payers is not truth but lies of omission to fool the public.
RS says
Its job growth for the illegal aliens and getting all the stuff that only lawful tax paying Americans are entitled to.
Algorithmic Analyst says
Like the foraging that animals do. Reducing humans to the animal level, where they spend their time foraging (stealing) for what they can get.

I see people dong that every day here in San Jose. Even out of garbage cans! This place isn’t anything like that Roberta Flack song.
Crap, at the light rail station in a park a block from my place just the other day I had to face down at least five guys (derelict scum.) They sneak up behind you, you know. You can’t expose your back to them. I kind of learned that from your comments about being cautious.. I’m old as fuck too so I need to watch my back. Nobody else is going to do it for me.
I have to stop drinking so much so I can drive more often.
