Planned Parenthood’s pitch is that they’re not an abortion mill, they provide “health care services”. So apart from killing kids, they also hand out hormones, first come, first serve.
In late July, while his parents were out of town and after he had come of age, Fred went to Planned Parenthood, which prescribes hormones to any legal adult without a letter from a therapist or a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria. The only requirement is a brief consultation, usually with a nurse practitioner, about the drugs’ effects, which range from mood swings and male pattern baldness to permanent infertility.
How brief? Fred arrived at his local clinic, on North Fullerton Ave. in Montclair, New Jersey, at around 11:00 a.m., according to phone tracking data his parents used to monitor his whereabouts. By 11:39, they received a text message from CVS: Fred’s estrogen prescription was on its way. Instead of a months-long evaluation by expert psychiatrists, a nurse practitioner had, in little over 30 minutes, prescribed their special-needs son a powerful drug without their knowledge or consent.
“It’s criminal what Planned Parenthoods all over the country are doing,” Fred’s mother, a New Jersey pediatrician, said. “And most people have no idea this is happening.”
But, but unsurprising. Hormones have become the new Prozac or Adderrall. And clinics are handing them out like candy despite the horrendous side effects and consequences.
Beck said that when he began transitioning, it took just an hour-long meeting at Veterans Affairs to be offered hormones.
“I walked into a psychologist’s office [and] in one day I have a letter in my hand saying I was transgender. I was authorized for hormones. I was authorized all this other stuff,” Beck said.
An hour at the VA with a psychologist? Planned Parenthood can beat that with 30 minutes and an NP.
Planned Parenthood is obviously an ideological operation. That is its whole reason for existence. And, arguably, its founders, who wanted to limit human reproduction, would have approved of a whole new exciting way to do that. But beyond that, there’s been an epidemic of ‘popular drugs’ being viewed as the solution to a laundry list of vaguely defined problems. Anyone who seems troubled was being treated with a laundry of psychiatric medications, but is now being diagnosed with gender issues and being prescribed hormones.
It’s lazy and incredibly destructive. Fighting this should involve passing legislation that creates clear consequences and a right to sue for damages by the victims of these practices.
Planned Parenthood won’t be prescribing hormones in 30 minutes or less if the organization knows that one single prescription could cost it millions.

That’s like the parable of looking for your lost keys under the street lamp. Why look under the street lamp? It’s too dark everywhere else 🙂
Why treat all problems with drugs? It’s the easiest and cheapest (maybe) way, and besides it’s all we have.

I feel embarrassed because I take four pills a day, when I remember. They’re all temporary and two of them are unnecessary now but I’ll take them all until the bottles are empty, which will take quite a while. My high cholesterol and high blood pressure are under control (I have an electronic blood pressure tester at home),) my duodenal ulcer is probably healed by now (the pills actually cure it) and most embarrassing of all, the little toenails on my right foot turned yellow but the pills are curing that. They just have to grow out.
I spent my entire life invulnerable to everything so this shit is embarrassing. I figure it’ll all be gone within a year, though, thank God.

I think some modern parents put their kids on drugs hoping to solve the problems they encounter trying to raise them. They bought into the nonsense. Most of the kids I know who took Adderrall or Ritulin have very serious issues, including one young relative who is doing time for armed robbery; a neighbors son across from us who is in his 30’s, still lives at home, never goes out, we have not seen a girl at his home in over 20 years, yet he thinks he’s a tough guy, with tattoos down both arms (he’s known in private circles as the Village Idiot). Another: daughter of a friend of ours was on this stuff. She had a child out of wedlock, now wants little to do with her son, preferring to work, and party (of course). Guess who’s raising him?

It’s the thing these days – pump the kids with drugs (and hormones now). Nothing to see here people. It’s all good, clean – profit, and who cares what comes down the road.
Since my mental health working days, I find myself regularly thinking those first few words – “First do no harm…’ Need I say I was useful in the field, but clearly not seen as a true believer in all these pills – and now hormones.

What Planned Parenthood (and anyone else dishing out these hormones) fails to tell these youngsters is that ANY high dosage of ANY hormone is eventually cancer causing. Multiple studies have proven this ages ago but it’s conveniently been left out of any “gender dysphoria” dialog and, after the death jabs, I don’t think that’s by accident.
After COVID, my family and I have tried to stay as far away from BIG PHARMA as we possibly can. They do not have our best interests at heart.
