Churning out clickbait is a mostly thankless task. Remember around 6 years ago when every headline attempted to sell suspense. “This one stupid trick is the reason why we’re living this way.” But sometimes you have to admire a real work of art. Even if it’s folk art, entirely unconscious and unself-conscious of its own glorious absurdity.
“Martin Luther King Jr would have understood that the line connecting Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump runs through Dixie”
Do you really need the name of the author and publication? Or the link? If you do, there’s probably something wrong with you.
All you can do is admire the ability of one man somewhere to build a headline connecting the two serial obsessions of the Democrats probably with some nonsense about “authoritarianism” (I could actually read it, but that would spoil the fun).
Sure the obvious joke here would be something about Russian troops marching through Georgia, but I’m pretty sure that no one who believes the Steele dossier is real would even get the reference.
But why not? Just insert any Dem buzzwords you like here, it works as well.
“Martin Luther King Jr would have understood that the line connecting vaccine skepticism and transphobia runs through Dixie”
“Martin Luther King Jr would have understood that the line connecting Ron DeSantis and misinformation runs through Dixie”
“Martin Luther King Jr would have understood that the line connecting Netanyahu and police brutality runs through Dixie”
“Martin Luther King Jr would have understood that the line connecting Democrat clickbait and ideological nuttery runs through Dixie”
