Give Hillary Clinton some credit. The failed former presidential candidate may not have charisma, good speaking skills, likability, a record of actual accomplishments or the ability to stop telling completely unnecessary lies, but she does have an endless capacity to hold grudges.
After burning through every possible book publishing grift (including a thriller in which a fictionalized version of herself copes with being Secretary of State), she’s back with yet another book that no one wants.
And more scores to settle. Especially with the women who didn’t vote for her.
Mrs. Clinton’s comments came in an interview conducted in late February for a forthcoming book, “The Fall of Roe: The Rise of a New America.”
It’s gotta be better than Grandma’s Garden and the Book of Gutsy Women which you can find at worse 99-cent stores in Toledo, Ohio (and nowhere else.)
But Hillary’s point is really that women are to blame because they didn’t vote for her.
Mrs. Clinton said she saw her defeat in that election as inextricable from her gender. As she has in the past, she blamed the former F.B.I. director James Comey’s last-minute reopening of the investigation of her private email server for her immediate defeat. Mr. Comey had raised questions about her judgment and called her “extremely careless” but recommended no criminal charges. Other political strategists have faulted her message, strategy and various missteps by her campaign for her loss in 2016.
“But once he did that to me, the people, the voters who left me, were women,” she said. “They left me because they just couldn’t take a risk on me, because as a woman, I’m supposed to be perfect. They were willing to take a risk on Trump — who had a long list of, let’s call them flaws, to illustrate his imperfection — because he was a man, and they could envision a man as president and commander in chief.”
This is delusional.
Hillary Clinton was unpopular, undesired and corrupt. Rather than taking credit for seizing control of the nomination using a political machine (not any kind of genuine popularity) and blowing the election, she’s blaming women for not supporting her, as if she was entitled to the support of women because of her gender.
Back when Bill was sexually assaulting women, Hillary didn’t feel any need to stand with them. But she always relies on this sense of feminist entitlement that women have to rally for her.
And all of this is especially insane because women did vote for Hillary.
Women were 13 percentage points more likely than men to have voted for Clinton (54% among women, 41% among men). The gender gap was particularly large among validated voters younger than 50. In this group, 63% of women said they voted for Clinton, compared with just 43% of men.
Hillary Clinton has issues. She’s repeatedly blamed sexism for losing the election and now she’s blaming women. Has she ever considered blaming herself?
Collective insanity. I remember my Mom was having a meeting with about a dozen of her spiritualist lady friends and the topic of the candidacy of Barack Obama came up (must have been in 2008 or so). The good ladies all practically swooned. That’s when I realized we were in trouble.
Mom had a dream that Hillary would become President. It never happened of course, and now it is too late. One of the wonderful ladies had a heart attack and died during the 2016 election night when she found out Trump was winning. Wonderful ladies but a persistent delusional worldview. Abortion rights is one factor, some of them are fanatical about that, murderous even, to the point where one dare not bring up the topic.
When I was visiting one Christmas they were opening presents, one was Michelle Obama’s book. I had to look away, the rest all swooned.
You call these women “good” and “wonderful.” Baffling!

I work with leftists and have for years. I see some good sides to them. But it all disappears in an instant if they think you voted against their god. I can tell you many anecdotes of their snake like viciousness.
I have seen a ring of teachers cackling and praying for the painful death of a candidate’s children while the candidate watches and suffers. I once impulsively corrected one coworker (with whom I used to have lunch) on which politician went to Epstein’s Island numerous times (It was Clinton not Trump). She walked backwards away from me, mouth agape, and never spoke a word to me again.

Thanks to you, Chaya, and to Algorithmic Analyst for sharing these stories. We have all been there, unfortunately, and will continue to experience these things for the foreseeable future. A compilation of these anecdotes might make for an interesting book, not unlike the memories of life in East Germany that were collected by the Australian journalist Anna Funder in her book “Stasiland,” which is a great read.

I will forever remember Hillary as the woman who kissed Suha Arafat.
No doubt she liked it.
Man, She is actually sadly lacking in any principles that represent good, honest, caring, and responsible women. No woman who loves their family and wants them to have a productive secure future would vote for Hillary. It does not take a village, it takes values and principles to live by, character, and honesty.

When I read your first paragraph, Daniel, I thought “what more can he say after that? That’s a perfect summary of that evil woman — there’s nothing more for him to write about!’ I was wrong. What a great column. Right on, about the woman, about her evil nature, and about all the wrong things she has done in her despicable life. Which brought to mind a story that appeared broadly across the news a few years ago: 70% of divorces are initiated by wives. As a man hoping to keep cynicism at bay, I double-checked on the internet hoping to find that statistic was actually false.
But not only are 70% of divorces indeed initiated by wives, when the wives are college educated the number rises to 90%.
Is there a connection?
The only consolation to horrible people like this is the ‘Judas’ effect. They are miserably tormented by their own behavior so that it is impossible for them to even live with themselves.
