The House Ways and Means Committee released more material with an intriguing twist.
This comes from the Director of the Office of Communications for IRS Criminal Investigations.
Chief and Deputy Chief, I took a call from a CNN producer yesterday who gives me a heads up on things he is working on and allows me the opportunity to comment. Yesterday he called me about Sportsman (he did not use that term obviously). He gave me the following tidbits:
Producer is aware of a witness who was recently interviewed by our agents and FBI in Delaware.
Witness told producer that he was under the impression that they were wrapping things up and just had a few basic questions to “put a bow on the investigation.”
Producer has an email from Hunter saying he expected all of this “stuff” to go away when his dad becomes President.
What’s the ‘lede’ here? Is it Hunter’s chutzpah in believing that the case would go away once his father took office? Or is it CNN having an email like that in their possession and then sitting on it?
The email dates back to September 2021. When did this CNN producer get hold of this email? Even with the most charitable assumptions possible, CNN spent years sitting on an email in which a president’s son allegedly suggests that an investigation will go away when his dad becomes president.
That’s the same CNN that made stories out of Trump walking carefully down the stairs or having two scoops of ice cream.
And yet CNN didn’t have an angle on “Hunter saying he expected all of this ‘stuff’ to go away when his dad becomes President.” Instead, apparently, CNN tried to trade the material too hot to run to the IRS for some inside dope.
There’s no story in “Hunter saying he expected all of this ‘stuff’ to go away when his dad becomes President.”
None at all. Just ask CNN.
Why wouldn’t he? When a bag of blow found in one of the most secure buildings in the United States was ultimately “found” in four separate locations, each suspiciously less secure than the last, couldn’t have prints pulled from it (nonsense) or traced back to it’s owner, Hunter has good reason for his assumption. When the “laptop from hell” made the Watergate scandal look like a Girl Scout outing, his expectations were well founded.
I applaud true conservative House Republicans and their efforts, but it takes two to tango and the lion-share of the Republicans in the Senate are RINO snakes, and they have zero intentions of upsetting the gravy train apple cart.
There are also cameras throughout the White House, including where the blow was found.
The Secret Service and others know who did it but won’t say. Shame on the SS. I guess it wants to be more like the FBI.
A risky gamble an addict might take.
And in this case, DID take.
Yeah, interesting psychology.
Make what “go away?” You mean he had consciousness of guilt? Why would that be? As we all know, Joe told us that Hunter had done nothing wrong.
What did he want to go away? Probably his cute little daughter daughter.
