Three years ago, Science News published an article with the following headline: “Hurricanes may not be becoming more frequent, but they’re still more dangerous — There aren’t more of the storms now than there were roughly 150 years ago, a study suggests.” As to the increasing number of lives threatened and greater property damage, more people now live and build things in hurricane-affected areas.
If this sounds confusing and contradictory, let’s again revisit the track record of the “experts.”

Still waiting for the Coming Ice Age that literally ALL SCIENTISTS EVERYWHERE warned us about in the 1970s and 1980s. They quietly switched the script to Global Warming in the 1990s without a single Mea Culpa. And now the meaningless phrase “Climate Change”, which literally could mean anything.
Beg to differ. Graduated geology in 1970. Worked in private industry. My dad was a R&D chemist, uncle was a biochemist, grandpa was a nuclear physicist. None of us & our colleagues believed that crap re: global cooling. We mocked the apparatchiks & morons pushing that hoax. It came from the UN bureau-rats, Swedish socialists & the fibbing schmuck P. Ehrlich . The fake scientists, warmists all work for the gov or in woke schools.
Apropos hurricanes, how about the one in Galveston 1900/1930 that leveled it. Must have been cow farts or something.
