Children aren’t responsible for the actions of their parents.

When a parent takes a small child through the desert or locks him in a hot car, it’s his fault. And it’s a crime.

The Democrat media has chosen to treat it as the government’s fault when migrant children die after such crossings. It’s not the fault of an overloaded border patrol that parents engage in abusive behavior.

And no amount of cynical efforts at excusing the parent from blame will make that happen.

If we arrest parents who leave a child in a hot car, a parent who takes a child through the desert leading to their death should have every book in the world thrown at him.

But there is a way to prevent it.

We can’t impose our own laws on abusive parents in South America. We can however build a wall that will prevent future crossings.

As long as America represents an “attractive nuisance” for illegal migrants, they will come. And if they’re treated better when they bring children along, they will bring the kids.

And some of those children will die.

The only way to save their lives is to build a wall that will put a stop to the human trafficking and illegal migration.

Schumer and Pelosi are fighting tooth and nail to stop a wall that will save the lives of those children. That’s wrong. And they should be held accountable for it.
