[Order David Horowitz’s new book, America Betrayed, HERE.]
Hundreds, and possibly thousands, of American students – so far 2,000 have been arrested — are about to be, or have already been, expelled from their universities for refusing to take down tent encampments set up in the middle of the campus, for smashing windows and doors of university buildings and then barricading themselves inside, for chanting antisemitic slogans, surrounding Jewish students and taunting them, attacking them physically (even beating a Jewish girl unconscious at UCLA), and for entering classrooms and lecture halls to harangue both faculty and students on the wickedness of Israel, the “plight of the poor Palestinians,” and the “ongoing genocide in Gaza.”
Even if expelled, those students need not worry about their future education. Those who are facing disciplinary action for supporting the Hamas terrorist organization have just been made generous offers by two universities in Iran — one in Tehran and another in Shiraz — as well as by the Houthi-controlled Sanaa University in Yemen, happy to enroll students in America and Europe facing disciplinary action for supporting the Hamas terrorist organization. Robert Spencer has written briefly about these offers here and here, and more on them can be found here: “Pro-Hamas U.S. Students Receive Offers from Houthis, Tehran University,” by Frances Martel, Breitbart, May 3, 2024:
Officials at two universities run by radical jihadist terror entities — Iran’s public Tehran University and the Houthi-controlled Sanaa University in Yemen — offered enrollment this week to students in America and Europe facing disciplinary action for supporting the Hamas terrorist organization.
Violent “encampment” occupations and other disorderly activity has erupted on campuses throughout America, most prominently at universities located in traditionally left-wing areas such as New York’s Columbia University, The University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA), and Northwestern University in greater Chicago….
As of Friday, police have arrested more than 2,000 people for violence and disruptive activity on campuses nationwide. The protests have affected 43 universities so far, according to the Associated Press.
Brown University announced on Thursday it would consider divesting from projects in Israel – a core demand of the occupiers – becoming the first university to cede to the protests.
Iran’s Shiraz University, a public institution, announced on Wednesday that any protester in America or Europe facing academic consequences for supporting Hamas could apply for scholarships at Shiraz, also extending the invitation to professors seeking a more pro-jihadist campus. On Thursday, the larger Tehran University made a similar appeal to pro-Hamas Westerners.
“We accept students who have been expelled from European and American universities for protesting against the actions of the Zionists,” Seyed Mahmoud Aghamiri, the dean of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, said on Thursday, according to Iranian state propaganda outlet PressTV. “We have considered scholarship for these students and we fully cover the cost of education, dormitory and accommodation.”
Just think of that: a university education offered for free, so heartfelt is the gratitude of Iranians to the students in the West who have been protesting so relentlessly “against the Zionist entity” and “for Hamas.”
Aghamiri said that the invite would especially apply to “Palestinian students whose lives have been affected” by alleged “Israeli aggression.”
Yes, let Palestinian students leave Western universities, where they have been spreading their antisemitic hate among the ignorant nitwits, and put them where they can do the least harm, among fellow Muslims in universities far from the Western world.
Similarly, in Yemen, in remarks to Reuters published on Friday, an unnamed official with Sanaa University offered a place in the institution to Americans suspended from universities for supporting jihadist terrorism.
“We are serious about welcoming students that have been suspended from U.S. universities for supporting Palestinians,” the unnamed official said. “We are fighting this battle with Palestine in every way we can.”…
Given what we know of Yemen’s Sanaa University, one of the worst universities in the world, akin to a glorified madrasa, its graduates are unlikely to find gainful employment in the West; upon graduation, they may find their occupational opportunities limited to the Arab and Muslim world. Which is just what we should want: an emptying out of our own universities of the worst of the anti-Israel agitators, who will now be in places — Iran and Yemen and elsewhere in the Muslim Middle East — where they can do the least harm, and where they are likely to remain.
In the 45 years of its existence, the Islamic Republic has killed thousands of protesters and dissidents; the latest wave of repression came after Mahsa Amini’s death. The university administrators in this terror state are loyal enforcers of the government’s policies; the professors must toe the line so as to remain politically — that is, Islamically — correct. This ensures a mediocrity of mind, akin to what university faculties displayed in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia.
How many American and European students are aware of the draconian prohibitions in Iran and among the Houthis in Yemen on the sexes mixing? How many know of the brutal enforcement by the religious police in Iran of the rules regarding the wearing of the hijab? How many can conceive of full awfulness of these Islamic despotisms? Those raised in the West who accept these offers to study in the Muslim (Shi’a Division) Middle East, are going to get a huge shock. Who knows? Perhaps some of them will come away chastened from their close encounters with Muslim higher education at its fanatical worst, possibly leading the scales to fall from their eyes, and a reconsideration, on the part of those Western students of the sheer wonderfulness of Islam.
So let’s give our support to those universities in Tehran and Shiraz, and in Sanaa, for their offers that, if taken up by many of the nitwits now causing antisemitic havoc at home, will reduce their presence, and malignant influence, on our own universities, so that they may recover from their current moral distemper.

Fine by me. Let them go. Let them find out what the real world is like. And if they go they also forfeit their American citizenship.
Enjoy the couscous and the hijabs. I hear the M.E. is very nice this time of year….before the heat sets in.

Exactly, that was my first thought… don’t let the door hit you in the rear on your way out. Small loss and we all know they would regret it in a heartbeat when their protest was stopped before it ever got started.

It’s called terrorist recruitment and training centers, not Universities in Iran and Yemen.
SPURWING PLOVER says
Let those stary eyed simpletons Collage moron go to the middle east and watch them throwing gays off the tops of tall buildings while claiming Islams the religion of Peace a jolt of realty for the fools and let that sink into their empty little heads
Daniel Hargreaves says
Good. I hope many take up these offers. Betting line would be less than a week before they will come back
Robert L. Kahlcke says
Please take them all and keep um.
Luz Maria Rodriguez says
These know-it-alls should be encouraged to take the offer.
