A good rule of thumb is that when you find yourself on the same side as ISIS and Al Qaeda, you should probably rethink your position. The Democrats became the treason party when they allowed themselves to be taken over by the Left. But a tiny, little bit more should be expected of Senate Republicans. This isn’t just pushing Islamist democratization in the Arab Spring, which was bad enough, it’s standing with ISIS and Al Qaeda.

Senator Lindsey Graham has announced that he will undermine the Republican agenda until he gets his way on Jamal Khashoggi, an old Islamist friend of Osama bin Laden, who mourned his death on Twitter.

You know who else is upset about Khashoggi’s death? His old pal’s terror groups, Al Qaeda and ISIS.

As Jordan Schachtel notes, groups linked to both have been turning Khashoggi into a martyr in their media, as Islamist media once again parallels the mainstream media.

T​errorist groups have now openly adopted slain Saudi columnist Jamal Khashoggi as one of their own. Al Qaeda- and ISIS-linked publications are now hoisting up the controversial Islamist activist as a martyr for their causes.

Al Masra, the publication produced by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), put out a new edition this week focusing on Khashoggi’s plight and the supposedly evil Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS).

That’s only fitting since a top figure in AQAP, Anwar Al-Awlaki, is both a media martyr, after a drone took him out, and a martyr in the lefty media which had once celebrated him as a moderate leader. Khashoggi joins Al-Awlaki in the pantheon of red-green alliance martyrs.

Additionally, an ISIS-linked media outfit, Abd al-Faqir Media group, is spreading a propaganda poster depicting MBS smiling while holding a chainsaw in front of a helpless Khashoggi.

Really, when you’re on the same side as ISIS, take a long look in the mirror and see if you can find your soul.

The same madness that led Senate Republicans to back the Arab Spring has now put some of them on the same side as ISIS. The Muslim Brotherhood is a gateway drug to hard core terrorism, not just for its supporters, but for its useful idiots.
