There are no surprises here.
Bernie Sanders backed Jesse Jackson after his Hymietown slur.
Jackson had told a Washington Post reporter, “That’s all Hymie wants to talk about, is Israel; every time you go to Hymietown, that’s all they want to talk about”. Bernie Sanders however tried to prove he was a good “Hymie” (or a good Non-Hymie Hymie) by defending Jackson’s hostility to the Jewish state.
When Bernie Sanders reached out for perspective on the Middle East during his campaign, he contacted James Zogby, who defended Hamas and Hezbollah, and Lawrence Wilkerson, who had accused Jewish officials of dual loyalty and suggested that Israel was behind Assad’s chemical weapons attacks.
He’s stood by Keith Ellison and had this response to a blatantly anti-Semitic question.
At a Bernie Sanders event in New York City, a black “community activist” began ranting about “Zionist Jews” running the Federal Reserve and Wall Street. There was no condemnation of anti-Semitism. Instead after an initial claim that he was proud to be Jewish, he switched to a rambling speech criticizing Israel and distancing himself from Zionism.
So it would have been much more surprising if Bernie hadn’t rushed to Rep. Omar’s defense after her anti-Semitic tweets.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on a conference call hosted by Jim Zogby, Co-Chair of the DNC’s Ethnic Council, when asked about the controversy over Rep. Ilhan Omar’s tweets about AIPAC:“I talked to Ilhan last night to give her my personal support. We will stand by our Muslim brothers and sisters.”
And continue supporting our anti-Semitic brothers and sisters.
Also joining the party was MoveOn.org’s pet cretin who had previously traded in anti-Semitic dog whistles.
“Ilhan is a vital, important new leader in Congress–and she’s been facing a slew of Islamophobic attacks,” Ilya Sheyman, executive director of MoveOn Political Action told The Daily Beast. “We’re proud to have supported her in her primary and general election campaign. We’re eager to continue supporting her strong, principled leadership on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and across our shared priorities.
Not a surprise coming from Ilya “Another Lieberman” Sheyman.
The liberal activist group MoveOn is assailing Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) for his decision, announced late Thursday night, to oppose the nuclear deal with Iran.
“Our country doesn’t need another Joe Lieberman in the Senate, and it certainly doesn’t need him as Democratic leader,” MoveOn political action executive director Ilya Sheyman said in a statement about Schumer, who is next to line to be the Senate’s top Democrat.
What do Lieberman and Schumer have in common, in relation to the Iran Deal?
It’s not just Rep. Omar. The Anti-Israel Left is rotten with anti-Semitic filth.
