Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled an “Opportunity Agenda” proposal for Black men Monday, which includes plans to provide 1 million forgivable loans to Black entrepreneurs and new pathways to help Black Americans succeed in the legalized marijuana industry.
The plan outlined Monday would provide 1 million fully forgivable loans of up to $20,000 to Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business. The loans would be financed through partnerships between “mission-driven lenders,” community oriented banks and the Small Business Administration, the campaign said.
This is exactly the kind of idea that a woman whose favorite group is ‘Salt and Pepper’ would come up with to win over black men.
“Hey, guys I hear you like drugs and crypto, also how about $20 billion in forgivable loans?”
“She will also fight to ensure that as the national cannabis industry takes shape, Black men — who have, for years, been over policed for marijuana use — are able to access wealth and jobs in this new market,” the campaign said.
Helping black men find work… as drug dealers.
According to her campaign, Harris “knows that more than 20% of Black Americans own or have owned cryptocurrency assets, which is why her plans will make sure owners of and investors in digital assets benefit from a regulatory framework so that black men and others who participate in this market are protected.”
Black men have some worthless strings of code. Let’s regulate it to protect them and in the process wipe the whole thing out.

If Heels Up Harris can’t stroke a million black guys with $20,000 “forgivable loans,” grants) maybe she can stroke them the old fashioned way. It’s one of her career specialties.
Marijuana isn’t a drug, though. It’s a plant. It isn’t synthesized. The U.S. drug Enforcement Administration declares it as a class one drug but like most government agencies, it’s full of crap and corruption.

I noticed that too. We must call out weasel words like “over policing” the left uses to colonize our minds and destroy us. Activity is criminal or not depending upon the elements of an offense without regard to racial or social particularities.
Black men are NOT over policed. They are over represented in the commission of crime, especially violent crime. The failure to recognize and deal with this truth does harm to every American. We must be comfortable with this truth and not separated from it by feelings or desires that the world should be otherwise.
Restore true equality under the law. Have confidence that merit exists in all races, but may not be equally distributed in all fields.
It is alway and everywhere a universal and unconstitutional wrong forcibly to take money from one class of persons to give to another.

Yes, the weed sold at those dispensaries is far more potent than the black market stuff and specifically cultivated for specialty highs. They have dispensaries here in San Jose. I’ve never been to one but I’ve been meaning to check one out. I’ve seen video on TV and the owners and clerks seem quite knowledgeable and they have all kinds of crazy stuff they sell, from different types and forms of weed to smoking paraphernalia I’ve never seen except on TV. They have funny names such as “Haze” and at least one home delivers, LOL.
I’ve been told the black market weed around here is the same as it ever was. If that’s true in weed and drug addled San Jose, it’s probably pretty much the same most everywhere in America.
Smoking weed definitely causes mellowness and docility. Once the federal government figures out what an effective substance it is to exert government control, they’ll probably start pushing it on the public..

And what would happen if, say, Donald Trump offered white males up to $20,000 in “forgivable loans?” Can you even imagine the outcry? I think her policy should be construed as bribery and, if enacted, would violate the 5th Amendment and numerous federal civil rights law. But it’s all okay because. . . why?
Harris’s proposal is just another example of why America is a failing country. The only thing both political parties have to offer is more tax cuts and more spending to get elected until the country goes bankrupt.
When that happens, then poverty and unemployment will go up. Have you notice all the stores’ closings that have been announced the last few days including the one by Walgreens today.

The biggest problem with this very bad idea is that it is racist. The SBA cannot only give loans to “black” people without being racist and discriminatory.

The Small Business Administration is already racist but not exclusively in favor of blacks. It’s exclusively racist against whitey and sexist against men.
