Obamania was a hysterical response of leftist aspiration. The Left could smell what they were going to accomplish and its media and cultural establishment threw all caution to the wind to launch a propaganda campaign the likes of which the country had not seen in over 70 years.
Kamalamania is outwardly similar. The hysteria is saturating the entire media. Much as in 2007, a formerly insufferable and dishonest media has simply become as unreadable as anything out of a totalitarian regime. Everything is filled with worshipful praise of Kamala, chants about her glory, and predictions of her inevitable victory. And that’s just the first few pages of the Washington Post. Not even the most shameful flattery is considered off limits.
All of this was a shock to the system when my younger self encountered it in 2007. I didn’t like or trust the media, but seeing it turn into Invasion of the Body Snatchers was really something. What had formerly been biased was now an unreasoning fanatical machine dedicated to screaming loudly for Obama and screaming loudly against anyone else.
Kamalamania is to Obamania as Taylor Swift’s tour is to the Beatles. It’s not hype about something but hype in search of something. And while that can work with stupid people, it has its limits when people have actual skin in the game and want something more than a souvenir and water cooler chatter.
Kamalamania may be following the Obamamania playbook but, as Obama liked to say, it’s not operating from a position of strength, but weakness. Obamania was based on the conviction that the Left had an extremely marketable radical who was going to roll over Republicans and his own party. Kamalamania is the desperate response of a party making the best of a bad situation. With Obama and his people in the driver’s seat, they’re gambling that they can keep Kamalamania going for three months.
As long as nobody needs to buy something, aspire to the future or avoid crime.
The media has pumped Kamala up about as much as possible. But when you pump up something so full of hot air, it either rises or leaks. Obama rose, Kamala leaks.
Hype either feeds on itself or deflates. Obama eventually deflated, but Kamala can’t even hold that much hot air. With nothing to say and no more to offer than her own inadequate persona, Kamalamania is doomed.
Dems created a crisis of perception over Biden’s mental state in order to not only oust him but make whoever replaced him seem like a savior. But the sense of relief from Kamala coming in followed by endless hype can only last for so long. You can’t hype nothing forever.
That leaves them with the option of either creating crises for Kamala to confront (and good luck with that) or falling back on the usual demonization that fueled the Biden campaign.
Or just bring in the BLM riots.
My money is on BLM and Antifa riots.
Before, or after the elections, I wonder. A threat, or a declaration of war?
If those anarchist groups begin rioting again, they will be short lived. We the people have had enough.

The Walz pick shows that Democrat elites are doubling down on socialism. Many days have passed since Kamala’s koronation, yet no policy revelations. I can’t help but assume that’s by design since, once those policies are common knowledge, the ONLY freedoms they’ll promote will be for party elites, criminals, illegals and the freedom from common sense.
Democrats once tried to hide their extreme leftist views. No longer. If you don’t think America is in the fight for it’s very soul, you might want to think again. It is my personal belief, both as a Christian and as a political science nerd, that America can’t survive 4 years of Harris/Walz without America being forever changed for the worse.

Should they steal this again all will know that was the last attempt at an election. The Question is not will US survive but how many individual citizens will survive and I mean literally.
The only hope is to then break up the union so that those who can, stay in safe zones. But even that will be iffy. If you think I’m being dramatic see Venezuela, or Cuba or take your pick.
I don’t think in my life I’ve ever seen a more vacuous, unintelligent, unserious Presidential candidate than The Cackling One, including in the primaries. And the media’s united effort to put lipstick on this pig is unprecedented outside of communist dictatorships. It is simply unbelievable how far this country, its media, and the gullibility of its population have fallen.
There have been many incompetent, witless and undeserving politicians in history. Harris is in a class by herself.

During the primary Harris called Biden a racist and a sexual assaulter of women. She said she believed all of the women who said Biden made unwanted advances on them.
Then, when Biden asked Harris to be his running mate, she said, “Sure Joe! I’d love to!”

But the key point for all Republicans, and especially Trump, to remember is this: keep your eye on the ball, which in this case is Harris’s crazy ultra-liberalism.
Kamala Harris, as Joe Biden’s surrogate, let millions of illegals into the country. It may be eight million. It may be eleven million. No one is quite sure, since the numbers are so large.
Does that really matter? The answer is that it matters to some people, and it matters to those people a lot. The effects of all those illegals are felt primarily by the people in the country least able to adjust to those effects. Who are those people? And what are the effects?
Illegal immigrant children get to go to U.S. public schools under the 1982 Supreme Court’s ruling in Plyler vs. Doe (ripe for overruling). Public schools are already, for the most part, dreadful. (They are dreadful because they are run by the teachers’ unions that own the Democrat party chalk, black board, and eraser.) Managing an influx of millions of illegal children, many of whom speak no English, will make the schools worse—always assuming that’s possible. Which students will suffer the most? Blacks, of course. They depend on public schools more than any other group.
The illegals will also tend to take low-paying jobs, which are precisely the jobs that the least educated people in our country need.. And US Citizen public school students are the victims of teachers’ unions’ policies.
Why are Democrats so supportive and solicitous of strangers whose presence here will be inimical to American citizens—home-grown people whom politicians should care deeply about and on whom the country has spent trillions to help climb the ladder of, if not success, at least of survivability? What’s going on here?
Who are the people we should want to receive particular care from politicians? Surely lower-income blacks and other struggling citizens, not recently arrived illegal immigrants.
