I don’t fully understand how this “sanctuary” from the ordinary laws of the land for a special protected population, illegal alien cartel members or child sexual mutilators, quite works, but shouldn’t the city first offer sanctuary to the people already living there from being murdered?

And yet the sanctuary cities like Chicago or New York City tend to be phenomenally dangerous places. It’s almost like the more dangerous a Democrat hellhole is, the more likely it is to declare itself a sanctuary.

Come on transgenders, you too can enjoy the sanctuary of being brutally murdered in Kansas City.

The resolution isn’t a formal law or regulation. Still, it does say the city will not prosecute or fine any person or organization that seeks, provides, receives or helps someone care like puberty blockers, hormones or surgery.

Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said she supports the council’s action.

“I firmly support the Kansas City Council’s action today,” she said in a statement. “All forms of government should firmly stand against discrimination. My office does. We will continue to take all legal and appropriate steps under Missouri law to protect trans people — who are increasingly targeted for violence and exploitation. Rather than focusing on criminalizing trans individuals, the criminal justice system should seek to protect them.”

It doesn’t look like the criminal justice system in KC is capable of protecting anyone.

A new report has found that Kansas City has the fifth largest issue with homicides in the nation in the last quarter of 2022.

According to the report, Kansas City ranked as the city with the fifth largest homicide rate issue with a total score of 65.37. It had nearly 8 homicides per 100,000 residents in the fourth quarter of 2022.

On the plus side, you can safely mutilate kids. On the minus side, one of your fellow monsters may pump a few bullets in your head while making off with your BMW.

Life in blue cities is a tradeoff that way. World-class child mutilation services, but also world-class crime.

Still, if Kansas City wants to claim to be a sanctuary city, maybe Texas and Florida can start shipping illegals there. Some of them are bound to be transgender and might want their genitals removed. You never know.

Or, more likely, they’d want the opportunity to mug and rob, and perhaps kill, the flood of child mutilators who are about to stream into K.C. after this declaration.

Either way, it’s social justice.
