You can’t just go out and protest against the government. What do you think this is, America? Protests are now non-essential. The only free speech to be allowed is whatever Big Tech firms and Democrat politicians and their pet academics and media outlets decide you can utilize.

A protester who participated in hanging an effigy of Kentucky’s governor at an armed rally on the State Capitol grounds has been fired from his job at an auto dealer.

Gov. Andy Beshear responded to a question Wednesday about the firing, saying “different decisions have consequences and I would hope that we would all make better decisions.”

“But you don’t simply in the moment make a dummy with somebody’s face on it and hang it up,” the Democratic governor said. “I think what we saw was an act intended to create fear and terror.”

“My First Amendment was violated while I was doing a First Amendment act,” Terry Bush said.

Hanging an effigy is a traditional form of protect in the United States going back centuries. It wasn’t an “act intended to create fear and terror” when it was routinely done to George W. Bush, McCain, Palin, and Trump.

The Bush character wears a flight suit with the words “Mission Accomplished” emblazoned on the back, a reference to the president’s declaration aboard the deck of an aircraft carrier that major hostilities had ended in Iraq. An electronic ticker on the front displays what Cohen says are Bush’s lies.

White House spokesman Ken Lisaius said most people in America support Bush’s policies, and that the president supports free speech.

Free speech? Remember when we still had that. But just posting things on social media, free speech only applies to lefty-approved speech.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- A life-sized effigy of President Donald Trump hanging from a tree has many people outraged, but Fort Wayne police said the homeowner is protected by the right to free speech.

Chuck MacLean, a Law Professor at Indiana Tech, said this is an “interesting conundrum.” MacLean said Freedom of Speech under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and under Article 1, Section 9, of the Indiana Constitution, permits and protects speech as long as it is not a call to “imminent lawlessness.”

What’s Chuck’s view of firing someone for participating in a political protest while the governor nods along approvingly?

We all make decisions, as Governor Andy Beshear said. And the Democrats have decided that hanging their political opponents in effigy is a right reserved only for them.
