California Democrats have been freeing convicts, failing to prosecute offenders and enabling the worst homeless mess in the country.
All of those came together in Burbank for this violent attack.
A man described by police as a homeless ex-convict leaped out some bushes to ambush a 63-year-old woman out for a walk on a work break Monday in Burbank, California, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Police say Hector Manuel Ulloa, 51, attacked the woman about 1:50 p.m. on North San Fernando Boulevard, KTLA reported.
“He jumped out and kind of like punched her in the head, and that kind of took her down,” said witness Henry Kwan, KCBS reported. “Then he started punching her in the head and kicking her multiple times — maybe 10 to 20 times — and she was screaming for help.”
Ulloa also beat the woman with a glass bottle in the apparently random attack, KTTV reported.
“At some point in time he broke the bottle and actually used the shards of glass to attack her more,” said Sgt. Derek Green with the Burbank Police Department, KABC reported.
Police arrested Ulloa, who had run away, a short time after the attack, KABC reported. He has six prior convictions and had been on parole for a previous assault conviction, police say.
So much for 3 strikes and you’re out.
Lefties claimed that was inhumane. Unlike assaulting a 63-year-old woman with a glass bottle.
There’s a larger context to this which I’ve discussed before.
LAPD statistics showed that homeless crime actually increased by nearly 50%, jumping from 5,976 crime reports of homeless perpetrators in most of 2017 to 8,906 crime reports in most of 2018.
LAPD statistics showed that while the homeless were suspects in 4.3% of all crime in Los Angeles, they were the suspects in 12.6% of aggravated assaults. The footprint of homeless crime was three times as high when it came to aggravated assaults compared to the whole general geography of crime.
Drive around Los Angeles for a few hours and you will quickly encounter Third World street scenes. Ragged men and women stomp down deserted streets, threatening, cursing and violently gesticulating in the air. Legions of schizophrenics hang out in even the most expensive areas having angry debates with unseen antagonists. And sometimes they take a break from fighting ghosts to punch passerby.
Talk to enough people and the anecdotal stories of being threatened, punched or otherwise assaulted by the homeless population pile up
This isn’t the first brutal homeless assault in LA County. It alone won’t inspire change in a one-party state which is as thoroughly dominated by lefties as North Korea.
