California city councils have seen a wave of “ceasefire” solutions complete with public commentary and protests that fall somewhere between violently antisemitic to just plain violent.
In Bakersfield, CA, Riddhi Patel showed up with a message of hope and peace for the ceasefire resolution.
“People in the global south believe in violent revolution against their oppressors, and one day I hope someone brings the guillotine and kills all of you motherf*ckers… We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you.”

Even though these kinds of deranged college campus antics have become routine in city council ‘ceasefire’ meetings, the local mayor, Mayor Karen Goh, wasn’t having it.
Now she’s in court and is very sad.

Patel appears to work at the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment, was a veteran of the Bernie Sanders campaign, and then co-founded the local Sunrise Movement chapter.
The Sanders campaign has produced more violent political domestic terrorists than anything except Islam and the Sunrise Movement encourages abrasive tactics, confrontations and displays of insane rage.
The Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment bio describes Patel as “highlighting the intersectionality that comes with the environmental justice movement to achieve collective liberation for all oppressed communities. In her spare time, she enjoys holding elected officials accountable,”
In short, if you’re wondering where this psycho came from, she emerged from a political machine built to train, promote and employ exactly this kind of ‘revolutionary’ behavior.

Could be, but depends on the jurisdiction. Bakersfield used to be one of the most conservative areas in California. I don’t know if it still is.
My former neighbor was from Bakersfield. She had a nearly complete collection of L. Frank Baum books she had read as a child, so I got to read them when I was a child 🙂

Watch, Bakersfield will back down. Several city council members are already sympathizing and saying they didn’t feel threatened by her explicit death threats and threats of violent revolution. This will be pled down to misdemeanors and a slap on the wrist, if that. Who’s the DA there? If it’s a soros creature, you can safely bet the farm.
I had a student once named Patel that gave me some trouble. They have a very irritating way of talking.
Patel is a name that can be either Hindu or Muslim apparently.

Way back in the mid 80s, I had a Hindi basic programming instructor named Chaudhury. Apparently, that name is usually muslim there, so I figured there were likely some muslim Patels when I read the story..

Funny thing about prison. Even if it isn’t meant as a deterrent, it eventually becomes one. Last in line for funding, etc. I read lot about great leaders in history who end up in miserable prisons after they are defeated and captured on the battlefield.
