Here’s what they taught in school:

Biology’s taboo;
Being trans is cool;

And it’s an act of hate
(Or at least quite rude,

Or proof that you’re a prude)
For you to hesitate

To give a gal a date
Who used to be a dude.

Thus Jack can change to Jill,
And Jill can change to Jack.

But no amount of will
Will make a white man black.

So chromosomes don’t rate,
But melanin is fate.

Hence Oprah is oppressed
While some pale lumberjack

In some cold-water shack
Is powerful and blessed,

A white supremacist,
A coiled and racist fist.

Not to be a bore,
But hey – there’s plenty more:

Truth’s a conspiracy theory;
Euthanasia’s cheery.

Free speech? It’s a threat
To our democracy.

And if your burg’s beset
By a mad killing spree,

Trust me, your best bet
Is: set the killers free!

Among the folks with couth:

Toddlers should do drag;
Men have labor pains.

Old Glory? It’s a rag
Beloved of birdbrains.
