During the debates over the Build Back Better Act, a massive inflationary giveaway to special interests that Manchin has resurrected in the form of the Inflation Reduction Act, which will actually worsen inflation, Democrat critics claimed that Senator Manchin didn’t actually care about inflation, he just wanted special favors for his special interests.

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 or Don’t Say Inflation proves that was true all along.

Manchin never cared about inflation  What he wanted was to be in the driver’s seat for the last confirmed Senate hurrah and Schumer gave that to him. The Don’t Say Inflation act contains a lot of the same inflationary special interest spending, but now some of the special interests that Manchin likes are getting a taste.

His critics were right and his defenders were wrong.

And as government spending continues to worsen inflation, we’ll all pay the price.
