A city commission meeting at Springfield, Ohio went viral after video of residents complaining about the 20,000 Haitians who had invaded the city and trashed it became a major political talking point.
At the meeting, Anthony Harris, a local resident alleged that Haitians were, among other things, coming into parks and grabbing ducks by the neck, and then taking them off to eat them.

Memes quickly followed of Trump protecting ducks and cats from Haitian migrants. And what was a serious issue became a joke.
The media quickly went into defense mode and began denying that there were any “verified” reports of migrants eating pets and ducks. Media outlets also began promoting claims that the allegations were racist.
“This is the same old anti-Black playbook that we’ve seen for hundreds of years in Ohio being rolled out to divide and create hate, especially around election times,” said Erik Crew, staff attorney at the Haitian Bridge Alliance and a Cincinnati native with Springfield roots.
“White supremacist and antidemocratic movements have always used the claim that so-called Black savages are coming to destroy, especially when political power is up for grabs. This is no different. This time they are saying it is Haitians, and this time it is being used to try to score political points around immigration as well.”
Except the whole thing is coming from a black man. Not that the media tends to let a little thing like that stop its propagandists from doing their thing anyway.
Whether or not any housepets are being eaten, there’s nothing surprising about third-world migrants eating ducks, geese and swans in the park.
The national rollout of public parks was a noble progressive idea from the 19th century. When non-westerners show up and see ducks and geese waddling about, they see nothing wrong with taking them off to cook them. To them, it’s just food walking around. Ditto for swans.
As Harris said, it’s what they’re used to.
Whether Haitians are eating ducks in the park or not, the full town meeting shows pretty clearly that things are bad in Springfield, Ohio. Complaints about Haitians eating ducks and generally spreading havoc are not racist, unless Mr. Harris is a racist. The underlying issue is illegal mass migration and the abuse of the law to enable it.
TPS or Temporary Protected Status for Haitians is a longstanding problem. TPS has essentially become a permanent protection for Haitians whose country is deemed so bad that it can never be returned to. Biden chose to free 70% of the Haitian invaders. And what does that look like for Americans? Bad. Pretty bad.
23,584 Haitians became permanent residents in ’16. Haiti is a permanent disaster. So are its immigrants. Only 2,691 or 11% are employed.
Whether or not they eat pets, they’re eating up America starting with places like Springfield, Ohio.

St Bum Park down the street from my apartment has a lot of Canadian honkers that hang out there. There are some extremely sketchy bums and druggies who infest the park but I’ve never seen one kill a goose or gander. I guess none of them are Haitian.
Good point. Those Canadian honkers will fight back. We had a lot of them where I used to live. I had to plan my walking routes to avoid their droppings.

For the Democ-rat media, that black man complaining about Haitians may be existentially white. Remember what Joe Bite-Me said (he won’t) about blacks who contradict Democ-rats; specifically, who say they don’t know whether they’ll vote for Bite-Me or Trump: “You ain’t black.”

Things in Springfield are going to get very bad unless the Springfield City Commission is voted out or vigilante starts getting meted out

American blacks on average have 30% white genes and so I guess they are only one third racist against haitians.
I wonder how many French genes the Haitians have (Haiti used to be a French colony).
My guess is the black Haitians have, very roughly, about 10% French genes, based on quick internet search.
None of them are 100% black, and that includes Heels Up Harris’s father, who’s half Irish and less than half black.
I don’t know why the media feels the need to cover such stories from the racial angle. When you bring in a lot of people into an area, the locals are going to notice the problems and complain to someone about it.

In 1978 we moved to the small town of Fairborn Ohio, about halfway between Springfield and Dayton. This is where i have lived most of my adult life except for my time in the Army. Springfield has been on a decline for almost 50 years now. Springfield has been considered a s… hole for as long as i can remember.

About 1/2 hour north of Fairfield. On the east side of Wright Patterson AFB. The house i used to live in i could have thrown a rock over the fence and hit one of the Air Force 1 planes if it was there for servicing.
I drove past Springfield once. I didn’t stop. Now that I think of it, that was Springfield Illinois. I don’t know if it’s as bad as Springfield Ohio but it definitely sucks. It’s not as bad as Detroit but it definitely sucks.
Isn’t it interesting that these people are being subjected to an INVASION of Haitians who possess very little in the way of usefulness or community/social skills and then are accused of being RACIST just because they want to live in PEACE and SAFETY for themselves and their PETS?
