The media lately has taken to claiming that Muslim terrorists killing Jews isn’t anti-Semitic, Obama and Eric Holder posing with Farrakhan isn’t anti-Semitic, but any criticism of George Soros, an alleged Nazi collaborator, is anti-Semitic.
The Soros silly season led to ProPublica accusing Governor Bevin in Kentucky of anti-Semitism for criticizing Soros’ donations to it.
ProPublica boss, Richard Tofel whined that Bevin was “dog-whistling anti-Semitism” because he named Soros, and Herbert and Marion Sandler.
Not only is that not anti-Semitism, but Saturday Night Live’s famous bailout skit featured Soros and the Sandlers. The creepy duo were even described as “people who should be shot”. (Testifying to the cultural power of the Left, the skit was quickly censored and the uncensored version only exists in the underground.)
Was SNL dog-whistling anti-Semitism? Of course not.
Criticizing Soros, an anti-Semite, is not anti-Semitic. Defending him is.
