A little but premature, but not at all surprising.

Former ABC News anchorman Peter Jennings compared Americans to “a nation of two-year olds” for voting for Republicans during the midterms.

“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming,” Jennings whined. “Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week.”

The actual tantrum was being thrown by Jennings and the media.

Since then midterm elections won by Republicans are some variation on a tantrum while those won by Democrats are the outcry of a people who have had enough.

Not just angry, but sour. Angry might be justifiable, even worth celebrating. But now Americans are sour. They just don’t appreciate Biden. They’re ungrateful.

This is a hint of a media narrative which will blame Americans for not appreciating how much Biden has done for them. Or they’ll just fall back on the familiar old “whitelash”.
