Eff for hateful effort, whoever you are. Because not just any old racist has the energy, commitment or feel for slavery-era symbolism to saw through a more than 300-pound bronze likeness, leaving only Robinson’s feet behind in McAdams Park…
And to then dismember and burn the likeness of the first man to cross baseball’s color line and leave its charred remains in another public park Tuesday morning, so as to send a very public signal?
Of course that was written by a white woman.

I was reminded of him while watching Wichita Police Chief Joe Sullivan, who is white, speaking to the still-unknown people who desecrated and destroyed the Robinson statue. The chief’s disgust was palpable. He urged the perpetrators to have guts enough to come forward.
“Admit your part in this,” he said, indicating that several people were likely to be arrested for what they’d “done to our community.”
Nikki Haley and the “racial symbolism, impossible to ignore” aside, they caught the guy. And he’s just a thief.
Ricky Angel Alderete was taken into custody earlier on an unrelated case and was later charged in this case with “felony theft valued at over $25,000, aggravated criminal damage to property, identity theft and making false information,” according to The Wichita Eagle. He is currently jailed on $150,000 bond.
The reason for the theft, according to police, appears to be financial and not motivated by race.
“The investigation has not revealed any evidence indicating this was a hate-motivated crime,” police Lt. Aaron Moses said during Tuesday’s news conference. “Instead, we believe this theft was motivated by the financial gain of scrapping common metal.”

Stirring the racial enmity pot is the media’s default setting. After all, they have narratives to uphold. Best to treat them as one would the office water cooler gossip who’s always wrong: pack your own water.
It’s not just pot stirring. The Left, most certainly including our garbage media, is trying to smash the U.S. on the anvil of race. It doesn’t relentlessly push its racial narratives to get viewers or improve anything. The Left, as always, is pursuing destruction.

So what’s it called when all our Confederate statues are destroyed? Some halfwit ball players statue gets destroyed & it’s the worst thing ever.
Jackie Robinson was not a “halfwit ball player.” He was an okay guy and if somebody wants to represent him in bronze as a role model to the next generation, that’s fine.
But many of the confederate statues represent the epitome of American art and their destruction makes me want to weep. Nobody today could replicate those statues, especially the equestrian ones. Civilization falls when its art is wantonly destroyed with the approval of its rulers and its most powerful citizens.
Now we know what they call it. “Felony theft valued at over $25,000, aggravated criminal damage to property,” “slavery era symbolism,” “racism,” “hate,” “desecration,” “disrespect,” and “a very public signal.” But that’s all fine with the left and democrat party, as long as all that is directed against Western Civ and “whiteness.” They even removed the Reconcilliation monument at Arlington. That makes their intent clear.
The removal and presumable destruction of the Reconciliation Monument was an act of vandalism so vile that it would embarrass a Vandal. They after all became Roman and Christian; the current destroyers of our civilization will not adopt our values or religions.

About a month ago it was with great enthusiasm that I called attention to Daniel Greenfield’s landmark article from 2017 called “The Civil War is Here”.
The FP faithful looked it up and read it all these years later to great effect.
I would like to bring up an even older article from 2016 by Alexander Maistrovoy called “The Hypnotic Dance of Death”.
Maistrovoy grew up in the Soviet Union before emigrating to Israel.
He explains the anti-white suicidalism of the Western media to a large extent.
In 2016 I thought it was the best article I read the entire year at FP Magazine.
And it’s better today than it was then.
