The media routinely plays up civilian casualties in any Israeli air strike. But as the headlines show the game is played very differently when Islamic terrorist attacks kill children.
After the Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah struck a soccer field in the Israeli Golan Heights killing a dozen Druze children (Druze are a non-Jewish minority group in Israel whose members often serve in the Israeli military), the media did its best to write the most ambiguous headlines possible.

The New York Times keeps it ambiguous while MSNBC manages to front load claims of an “Israeli occupation” in the attack.

I had thought they’d recognize that these were not Jews and maybe write something less awful since its Jews they hate. I was wrong. Druze serve in the IDF and are Israelis so to the left, their lives do not matter. Only Hamas Lives Matter.
All it takes for terrorists to kill a person in Israel is for the person to be in Israel.
These were not Jewish children. These children had mostly Arabic names. They killed their own which is nothing new to the Iran backed jihad proxies – they slaughter their own when there is no conflict that they started!!!
This story was on the front page of the Sunday NY Post. Appearing on the front page of the Sunday NY Times,however, is a story about how the besieged Arabs in the West Bank (i.e. Judea and Samaria) are desperately trying to hold onto their livelihoods. Nothing there about the murdered Israeli children. There must be a large arena reserved in hell for the NY Times personnel who promote such anti-Israel bias, which, I will add, has been the Times’s default position for at least four decades.
Around 1980, I offered photographs of a demonstration by multiple Jewish organizations against what was happening to Jews in Arab countries to the NYT picture editor. This was at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza across from the UN. Only the Daily News had a reporter there, but nothing was published the next day. The Times was not interested, I said the Jewish Defense League was there and they covered the JDL. I was asked if there was violence. The Times was not interested because there was no violence to blame the JDL for. and was not interested in JDL unless there was violence. At the same time, the NYT did not treat the Black Panthers badly, except when the NYT would explain that the JDL was bad because they were like the Black Panthers, who otherwise were not called bad. That means they actually had no explanation for calling the JDL bad.
When PRESIDENT TRUMP regains his office he needs to push for TRUTH IN MEDIA! The FEC can pull licenses from tv networks for FALSE ADVERTISING and FALSE REPORTING – it’s been threatened before so now would be the time to “set an example”!! He should also have Congress look into the Gov’t ability to produce and distribute PROPAGANDA! Now I agree that our Gov’t should SHARE INFO with the PUBLIC but it should be TRUTHFUL and NON-BIASED! Lot of work to do to get Our Nation back on the right track!
