After the Supreme Court banned racial quotas in college admissions, MIT released its admissions figures for the class of 2028 which showed that the number of Asian students rose from 40% to 47%, while the number of white students fell from 38% to 37%. The number of black students dropped from 15% to 5% and the number of Latino students from 16% to 11%.
There would be various ways to report on those numbers, but the media nearly universally chose the following headline.

The media stories simply omit such basic facts as that…
1. The Supreme Court decision was a result of a lawsuit by Asian students and
2. The number of Asian students increased as a result
3. The number of white students actually dropped
This isn’t an accident. Like 99% of what the media does, it’s deliberate and dishonest propaganda that can only be parsed by reading between the lines.
The university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, shared demographic data showing that about 16% of the Class of 2028 identify as black, Hispanic, and/or Native American and Pacific Islander. In recent years that number has been about 25%, the school said.
Asians just aren’t diverse. Diversity means less Asians and more Asians means less diversity.
It’s clear that the Left believes this but is too dishonest to actually say it.
More intelligence and success threatens diversity.
Excellent coverage. I first started pontificating about this issue in the 1980s from what I saw in Berkeley.
Those annoying Asian students. They show up with their soaring grade averages (all A’s), diligent study habits, delaying gratification, having goals , discipline and constant hard work. They make it glaringly apparent that they are at an academic level so far above just about everyone else. Makes the other students in the class room feel bad when they appear stupid and unprepared for higher education, especially black students. I say this because this IS what it is all about. So the leftist running these institution ban Asian’s from getting it. Problem solved ! They can continue to dispense “A”s” for woefully mediocre work to the rest of the feckless ingrates. Rot starts from the top down and what happens at Universities eventually spreads into society as a whole.

I’ll get flamed for this, but looking back, it occurred to me that there were 2 kinds of top level students that we gave A+ grades to.
One type was Jewish students who were so freaking brilliant that they dazzled me with their intelligence, which I couldn’t match.
Then there were Asian students who, besides being intelligent, worked incredibly hard.

Besides, you’re right. Some students work harder than others, and “Asians” are some of the best. I was extremely smart as a kid but considered school boring because I wasn’t learning anything except for what I taught myself as an autodidact. Kindergarten was the exception. I learned to read correctly there. When I was three and four, I memorized written words and could recite all my books but I didn’t really understand letters. I blew off almost all my classes in high school and that was a mistake.
The kids who work hard in school tend to be successful as adults. I used to be successful even after my abysmal performance in high school and college but my ex-wife destroyed all that. I’m still smarter than the people around me – and better looking – but I’m not exactly a success anymore.
Oh well. I still pull a lot of chicks so I enjoy my life.
Diversity is dumb, make entrance qualifications completely color blind. If it ends up being 90% asian who gives a shit. Asians invest time, effort and money into their kid’s futures, that’s why they make it. If you don’t like it spend more time and effort with your children.

It’s all those after-school classes. The Asian kids go to school each day and go to school after school and on the weekend, with a particular emphasis on math. This places them very far ahead of the other students. Americans believe in letting their kids be kids, but Asian parents believe in helping their kids to get ahead. I don’t think most American parents realize what they are competing against.
I read the lawsuit used Asian plaintiffs in order to increase the sympathy of the US Supreme Court. If this is true, it says a lot about preference falsification under which we live.
The proper goal is excellence, and those who show it should go to the head of the line.
Ok – is the tide turning from anti-Semitic to anti-Asian?
I was telling my Jewish brethren and lonsmen that Jews are the new niggaz and looks like that Asians are fixing to get that moniker if they continue to keep their standards and values —
Meanwhile, Hebrew people are not Caucasian, we are Semitic and it pisses me off that selection is not included in those computerized medical forms that forces you to choose your race based on 5 selections.
It’s a different set of medicines that work for Semitics than works for Caucasians and so on!

They already have sub-classes of asian victims that are cool, because they can fit them with the narrative of being oppressed victims and poor. Notice whites always stand down anyway, but the discrimination is always applied without conscience and reckless fervor by society at all levels, especially these institutions. This discrimination the orcs apply against asians is a problem for them partially only because of their own worry about the perception of being anti-brown with this obvious discrimination, but even something like this hardly slows them. The ambiguity doesn’t slow their carelessness, because they never are held accountable and know they control the presses, so they never have to worry about their hubris.
Basically the fact that they already have classes of asians who are their “victims” who they use as a double barrel approach to push their narrative means that we are failing to counter the orcs in any meaningful way.
Just replace “Asians” with “Skilled Experienced Doctors” and it exposes the backwards thinking of the DEI crowd. You see, hiring good doctors who know what they’re doing discriminates against mediocre so-so doctors. It’s the perfect reason why you shouldn’t hire, much less elect inept liberals.
Any high-performing population will be considered “white.” Jews, Europeans and Asians will be “white” in our Orwellian future.
But perhaps this irrationality will push people into peak dissonance? People cannot live with lies forever.
Color-blind meritocracy is preferable to any other alternative, but that requires a government suitable for all the teeming masses of different ethnicities with their unique ways of being – a government by consent. The government we have now, formed by Anglo-protestants with a long heritage in English common law and culture, would probably not prevail.
The colleges can’t have more intelligent and highly qualified people. Can they?
