Some background.

Asian-Americans have been protesting a wave of violent attacks. Most of those attacks have been carried out by minority or homeless perpetrators. Democrats and the media have frantically tried to blame this on President Trump. Finally, they thought that they hit pay dirt over the spa shootings.

Except that the perpetrator had issues with sexual addiction and it wasn’t a hate crime.

Since the cops rained on their parade, the media launched a bizarre effort to target Georgia sheriff’s officials, accusing them of racism.

I won’t link to this garbage, but the bottom line is that the media is pushing conspiracy theories in an effort to resist the basic facts which are these…

1. The rise in attacks on Asian people is driven by the Democrat decision to favor criminals and defund police. 

2. The spa shooter deserves the death penalty. Whatever his motive. But there’s no particular evidence that he was a racist. And not everything has to be framed in identity politics terms by calling him a misogynist or a racist. Some psychopaths don’t have political agendas and haven’t graduated from a graduate seminar. They’re just angry, full of hate, and unstable ticking time bombs. That’s why we have cops and prisons. 

The Left keeps trying to see the world through its lens of a ruling ideology. And that’s why it can believe absurd things like

A. Crime doesn’t really exist except through its oppressor/oppressed binary

B. Crime is a social problem that will go away when we address privilege, oppression and bigotry

C. The only relevant lens for looking at a crime is to understand whether the criminal was oppressed or an oppressor

This is toxic, delusional garbage that makes it impossible to deal with actual problems and leads to utter disaster when it’s applied. And when that worldview is frustrated, as it was in Georgia, lefties react like frustrated witch hunters by doubling down on the search for witches.

Since the cops took away their witch, they must also be witches or, in this case, racists.
