“When we were in the White House, we could’ve never gotten away with some of the stuff that’s going on now, not because of the public, but our community wouldn’t have accepted that. You worked, you did your best every day. You showed up,” Obama said.

You showed up. 

That’s what Barack Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize for. He showed up. Nothing else.

What “best” did Michelle Obama, or for that matter, Barry, bring to the White House? What wouldn’t her community have accepted? What did she even do beyond ruin school lunches and accept a bunch of awards for just showing up.

But sure. Good thing that Obama couldn’t have gotten away with illegally shipping a fortune to terrorists in unmarked pallets full of foreign currency, eavesdropping on his political opponents, and setting off race riots across the country.

“The notion that people are out there wondering about these protests,” Obama said, “it’s like, do you know how much it takes, that it takes to get up everyday, and be accused of being less than what you are?”

I understand that getting out of bed every day is tough when you’re a millionaire celebrity with a Netflix deal who contributes nothing to society.
