An Arab “expert” on Israeli-Turkish relations recently published her analysis of Israel-Turkish relations, claiming that a powerful Jewish lobby, which has its origins in the followers of Sabbatai Zevi (1626-1676), who only pretended to convert to Islam but remained “secret Jews,” still exists today and, it is implied, Muslims must be made aware of their power. More on this claim of a “Jewish lobby” in Turkey can be found here: “Ever hear about the secret powerful Jewish lobby in Turkey?,” Elder of Ziyon, July 24, 2023:
Iraqi news site Buraitha News, which is a Shi’ite site, has an “analysis” of Israel-Turkish relations by journalist and TV presenter Tabarak al-Raadi. She recently earned her PhD in International Relations from the University of Baghdad.
It starts off with:
The issue of the role of the Jewish lobby in Turkey may shed light on the Israeli-Turkish relations, which are frequently talked about these days, and which cannot be separated from their historical course….
You see, this expert has traced back the Jewish influence on Turkey to Shabbati Zevi, the famous false messiah who converted to Islam [to avoid execution]. According to her his followers converted to Islam but remained Jewish and continue their secret Jewish influence in Turkey today.
As she writes, “Since those times, they assassinate the sultans, support the generals, promote this and oppress that, and sign secret treaties.”
Powerful stuff. But why does she not offer a shred of evidence to support those charges? Which sultans did the “Jewish lobby” in Turkey “assassinate”? What generals did they support? Presumably, she has in mind Ataturk, but it was his feats as a military leader in World War I, especially as the victor against the Allies at Gallipoli, and then as the political leader who successfully resisted attempts by the Allies to divide Turkish territory among themselves, that brought him to power, not any soi-disant “Jewish lobby.” Some clerical enemies of Ataturk, alarmed at his secularism, and his distaste for Islam – Ataturk was determined to modernize his country, and saw Islam as a hindrance to achieving that goal — would claim that he must have been a Dönmeh or “secret Jew,” descended from those followers of Zevi who pretended to convert to Islam in the 17th century.
She says, again without any supporting evidence, that they (the Jews of Turkey) “promote this and promote that.” What is the “this” and the “that” she has in mind? Not a single instance is offered. We are left to guess. And those Jews “sign secret treaties.” Are these treaties that the Turkish government signs, unaware that it is merely furthering the hidden agenda of Jews? Could our analyst not be bothered to list even one such treaty? Or can she claim that because those treaties are “secret,” she doesn’t know anything about them, other than the fact that they exist? And just how did Tabarak al-Raadi manage to divine that?
Her conspiracy theory extends into classic Western-style antisemitism, as she claims that Turkey’s major media are all controlled by these secret Jews….
If these “secret Jews” control the Turkish media, why is it that denunciations of the Jewish state appear regularly and, indeed, incessantly, in that media, becoming particularly frenzied and unhinged when hostilities between Israel and terror groups such as Hamas are underway, as in May 2021? The attacks on Israel in the Turkish media include the publication of antisemitic verses by Necip Fazıl Kisakurek, a Turkish nationalist poet and antisemite revered by Turkey’s President Erdogan. Erdogan has repeatedly denounced Israel as a “terror state.” Surely those “secret Jews” could have prevented the Turkish media from disseminating anti-Israel and antisemitic material – why didn’t they? Could it be because that “Jewish lobby” doesn’t exist, but is merely a figment of Tabarak Al-Raadi’s imagination?
And why didn’t that powerful “Jewish lobby” in Turkey prevent the Mavi Marmara, a Turkish ship manned by pro-Palestinian Turks, from trying to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza? And after the Israeli commandos took charge of the ship, why was there an outpouring of venom against Israel in the Turkish press? Surely the “secret Jewish lobby that controls the Turkish media” could have prevented such poisonous coverage?
A few more questions for Tabarak al-Raadi:
Why didn’t the “secret Jewish lobby” in Turkey, presumably powerful enough to prevent Erdogan from breaking diplomatic relations with Israel in 2018, fail to do so?
Why didn’t that lobby prevent Erdogan both from providing refuge to Hamas leaders, and providing Turkish citizenship, and passports, to dozens of Hamas members so as to ease their travels through Europe?
Why didn’t that Jewish lobby prevent Erdogan from announcing that should there be in the future a war “between the Cross and the Crescent,” he made clear which side Turkey would be on?
Finally, why could that powerful Jewish lobby not prevent Erdogan from having published in the newspaper Yeni Şafak, the paper which is close to Erdogan and his ruling AKP party, a call for the creation of a pan-Islamic army to attack, and destroy, Israel?
The article, titled “A Call for Urgent Action,” also appeared on the paper’s website under the title “What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?” The article called on the 57 member states of the OIC to form a joint “Army of Islam” to besiege and attack the state of Israel. It notes that such a joint army would greatly exceed the Israeli army in manpower, equipment and budget, and presents statistics to prove this. It also advocates establishing joint bases for the army’s ground, air and naval forces that will arrive from all over the Muslim world to besiege Israel. Surely that powerful “Jewish lobby” in Turkey, if it existed, would have moved heaven and earth to prevent such an article from being published.
So Turkey is run by a secret cabal of secret Jews. Sounds about right – after all, if Jews secretly control the world, then it follows that they also control Turkey. But if they are so powerful in theory – the conspiracy theory of Tabarak Al-Raadi – why are they so powerless in practice?
Since when has anti-Semitism ever relied on fact or logic?
So now the Jews run the Muslim nation of Turkey? What a surprise for the Turks.
It’s even more of a surprise for the Jews.
Noahides do not rely on logic. Neither do the followers of that Talmud stuff.
Imagine how much better off Turkey would be if a Secret Jewish Lobby did run it

The photo of that ”person” looks like a robot with really weird eyebrows. and Lips.
