Her right pectoral region is pixilated but as the photo makes clear, this is no wardrobe malfunction. Rep. Katie Hill, 32, sits naked in a comfy chair bushing the hair of a fully clothed woman, whose face is also pixilated. She plays with her phone as the California Democrat, Vice Chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, brushes out at a snarl, and the photo’s back story is indeed tangled.
Red State released the photo, and others, with an expose by Jennifer Van Laar explaining, “Rep. Hill was involved in a long-term sexual relationship with a female campaign staffer. The woman, whose name is not being released, was hired by Hill in late 2017 and quickly became involved in a ‘throuple’ relationship with Hill and her estranged husband, Kenny Heslep.”
In the photo, Hill does not look at the camera or provide any benefit of hindsight. Still, her past is not entirely blurred. As her official site explains, Katie is “the daughter of a registered nurse and police officer,” and “most recently worked as Executive Director of PATH (People Assisting The Homeless), the largest homeless services organization in California.” Other sites hail her education at College of the Canyons and Cal State Northridge.
In 2018, Hill defeated Republican incumbent Steve Knight in the 25th Congressional District. The naked hair-brusher has since been very open about how she approaches her role in Congress.
In March, the Human Rights Campaign, “the largest national bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization,” profiled “ten women leaders breaking barriers for bisexual representation.” HRC was “proud to mobilize our members and supporters to help elect U.S. Rep. Katie Hill, California’s first openly bisexual representative.” Hill talked about the importance of “bringing visibility to Congress, and now she shines as the only openly bisexual person in the House.” HRC includes Hill’s tweet: Today is #BiVisibilityDay and I’m proud to be running for Congress as an openly bisexual woman.”
The Oversight Committee underboss seems unaware that her brand of “visibility” could pose a problem. As Red State’s Van Larr noted, the new staffer recruited for the “throuple” was 22, while Hill and Heslep are both in their 30s. Hill had also been involved in a sexual relationship with male staffer Graham Kelly, now her legislative director. A congresswoman having two extramarital affairs with staffers also raises ethical issues, but there’s more. Hill also serves on the Armed Services committee and can access sensitive national security information. So with all her entanglements, Hill could be an easy target for blackmail.
As Matthew Boyle notes at Breitbart, Hill is on one of the six committees Speaker Nancy Pelosi has charged with the “impeachment inquiry” into President Trump. Pelosi has allowed Hill to remain on the committee, which “potentially puts the broader impeachment effort at risk because of compromising photographs and information about one of the leaders of the investigation being used as potential ‘Kompromat’ against the Democrat congresswoman.”
With the death of Elijah Cummings, Rep. Carolyn Maloney now heads the oversight committee and Nancy Pelosi has kept her in that post. Boyle wonders what Maloney thinks about Rep. Hill’s multiple affairs, and if the committee boss thinks Hill should continue as vice chair. And should the House ethics committee perhaps look into the matter? Maloney, Hill, and Pelosi aren’t talking, and these are hardly the only issues in question.
In the California Globe, Katy Grimes wonders what Steve Knight must be thinking. He lost “during the California Democrat ballot harvesting slaughter,” and that practice is not a one-off. Attorney General Xavier Becerra, once on Hillary Clinton’s short list as a running mate, recently let slip that there are 10 million illegals in California, and more than one million have been registered to vote by the DMV.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla won’t reveal how many actually voted but, safe to say, illegals are now the Democrats’ electoral college. In return, they get in-state tuition, welfare, and through sanctuary laws even the most violent criminals get protection from deportation. So Californians can peek at Hill’s pixilated chest but have to guess at how many illegals voted for her, and how many ballots were “harvested” on behalf of Hill and other Democrats.
Whatever the number, Katie Hill ran for Congress to give visibility to bisexuals, and she literally provides the optics. The inexperienced newcomer appears to view her office as a hiring hall for her “throuple,” yet Nancy Pelosi puts her in a leadership role on key committees.
The entanglements raise serious ethical questions but the old-line establishment media has yet to tune in. In similar style, comedians have also kept their distance from Katie Hill, despite a windfall of material.
As Dave Chappelle laments, you can’t say anything about the “alphabet people.” On the other hand, the naked Katie Hill, Vice Chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, has already confirmed that Democrats can truly defy satire.
