The New York Times has faced repeated attacks from the media mob over its hires. It dumped Quinn Norton from its editorial page on dubious grounds. The attacks on Bari Weiss have been ceaseless and carried out with the support of major media outlets, including the Gawker doxxers of the Huffington Post. But vile intersectional racism like this meets with the media’s approval.

On Wednesday, the New York Times hired Sarah Jeong to join their editorial board. Shortly thereafter, Jeong’s old racist tweets emerged…

“Dumba** f**king white people marking up the internet with their opinions like dogs p**sing on fire hydrants,“ Jeong tweeted in November 2014….

“Are white people genetically predisposed to burn faster in the sun, thus logically being only fit to live underground like groveling goblins,“ she wondered in December 2014.

In July 2014, Jeong admitted to taking a sick pleasure from being cruel to people based on the color of their skin. “It’s kind of sick how much joy I get out of being cruel to old white men,“ she confided.

“White people have stopped breeding. You’ll all go extinct soon. That was my plan all along,“ Jeong tweeted.

And there’s also #CancelWhitePeople.

People have had careers and lives ruined for a fraction of what Jeong tweeted. Take Roseanne, for example. Will the New York Times dump Jeong? I suspect not.

Racism against white people has few consequences. And is ubiquitous in the intersectional Tumblr sewers that millennial lefty writers emerged from.

But, make no mistake about it, if the Times keeps Jeong, it can shut up about racism… forever. Every time it delivers another lecture about Trump voters and racism, it should be reminded that it hired and employs a racist.

UPDATE: The Times is keeping its new racist. Every New York Times lecture on racism should be met with the reminder that it employs a racist.

“We hired Sarah Jeong because of the exceptional work she has done … her journalism and the fact that she is a young Asian woman have made her a subject of frequent online harassment. For a period of time she responded to that harassment by imitating the rhetoric of her harassers,” The Times said in a statement. “She regrets it, and The Times does not condone it.”

No, the Times does condone it. Its statement argues that racism in ‘self-defense’ is legitimate. Had Jeong tweeted those comments about black people, she would have been gone in 3 seconds.

Future references to the New York Times in conservative media should include the note that it employs a racist.
