There are two Americas and two sets of rules.
If you’re an American, you have to #CowerSafelyAtHome and #WearaMask. But if you’re a leftist going to Black Lives Matter riots, no rules apply.
If you’re an American and travel to D.C., you must self-quarantine. But if you’re attending a Black Lives Matter rally, you’re good.
Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bower has unveiled a list of 27 states deemed “high-risk areas” — meaning those traveling from them must self-quarantine for 14 days if arriving in the nation’s capital.
As part of the District’s effort to contain the coronavirus pandemic, the quarantine requirement was officially announced via an order from Bowser on Friday that did not specify which states were affected. It defined “high-risk areas” as “locations where the [seven-day] moving average daily new COVID-19 case rate is … 10 or more per … 100,000 persons.”
Not that this is going to interfere with Sharpton’s 100,000 man hate rally.
Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (NAN) has scheduled a march with an estimated 100,000 participants, 1,000 buses, a host of jumbotrons and lighting equipment, and at least 10 tents on or near the National Mall, according to a permit application from early June obtained by DCist.
The event, officially titled the “Get Off Our Necks” Commitment March on Washington, already has at least 40,000 registrants, and some hotels nearby have already been sold out, according to NAN’s D.C. Bureau Chief Ebonie Riley.

Can the NAN put together a 100,000 person rally without including high-risk areas? And doesn’t bringing 100,000 people in a packed crowd to D.C. make a mockery of efforts to prevent a coronavirus outbreak? Social distancing with that many people is obviously impossible. But the rules don’t apply to the Left. Apparently the virus doesn’t affect social justice rioters.
