After a long pause from climate mania to focus on pandemic lockdowns and burning down parts of the country for social justice, the Democrats have taken power again and like a vulture over a battlefield are circling back to spending a massive fortune on subsidies for their Big Green donors.

That means it’s time to drag out Greta Thunberg out of whatever cage she’s kept in when the climate circus isn’t in town and try to make her famous again.

PBS is airing a documentary on Thunberg. Because there haven’t been enough of those on the evil version of Pippi Longstocking whose superpower is throwing politically correct tantrums in public. The media is now reporting on every one of her, or her PR and social media team’s, utterances as if they actually mattered. 

The child soldiers of the climate wars, like all child soldiers, are the wreckage of a narcissistic ideology that thinks nothing of ruining a childhood in order to win whatever higher cause currently distracts an aging generation from its own sense of purposeless and mortality, while enriching the elites pulling the strings for their own profitable pet causes.

Greta Thunberg faces her own political mortality since child soldiers don’t work so well once they come of age. Like many child stars, one of her assets was looking younger than her age. Your average TV or movie teenager is played by an actor who is at least 2-3 years older than their character. The child stars or soldiers of the lefty political wars are chosen the same way with a preference for short, baby-faced teens, e.g.  Bloomberg’s Parkland protesters, who trigger our protective instincts and can demand to know why we’re not caring for them.

But every child star has to one day grow up. Just ask Ron Howard. And then prepare for a post-child star career. Some, like Howard, do a better job of that. Other child stars end up as broken and damaged people. The child is father to the man in that childhood is meant to prepare us for life.

But for child stars and soldiers, there’s never meant to be an adult life.

While Greta Thunberg keeps warning us about the end of the planet, it’s the end of the only life she’s ever known that’s really terrifying her. When the cameras go away and no one is paying attention to her, who will a precocious child turned woman who never actually became an adult be?
