It’s a measure of how insane the Left’s open borders program is that it deems 200,000 a year to be a “trickle”.

How trickly is that trickle?

Or, from another perspective, a reversal of Obama’s open borders program.

Which tells you how insanely out of control our immigration numbers are.

A mere 200,000. Just the entire population of Salt Lake City. In one year.

“It’s remarkable,” said David Bier, an immigration expert at the Cato Institute, of the 2018 numbers. “This is something that really hasn’t happened since the Great Recession. This should be very concerning to the administration that its policies are scaring people away.”

Very concerning.

How will we ever go bankrupt fast enough with only 200,000 extra people on welfare and voting for every lefty politician who promises them infinite freebies every year?

It should be very concerning to the administration that its policies are scaring away MS-13 gang members, future Times Square suicide bombers and the population that will turn Texas into the new California.

Hopefully “sensible” Republicans reverse these policies so we no longer scare away the destruction of America.

The largest declines were among people from Latin America and Asia who were not United States citizens, Mr. Frey found. In all, about 45 million foreign-born people lived in the United States in 2018. About half of those were citizens, nearly a quarter were undocumented and the remaining quarter were legal residents. So much for that trickle.

Another decline appears to be happening among students from China. The Associated Press reported this week that American universities are reporting steep declines in Chinese students, which is cutting into tuition revenue. Several universities have reported drops of one-fifth or more this fall, according to the report, which quoted university administrators blaming rising tensions between the two countries.

Tragic. Now how will China raid our knowledge sector while helping colleges finance ethnic studies courses in hating America?
