When Obama said, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” in regard to a YouTube trailer for a movie critical of Mohammed, we certainly know he meant it.
Radio host Lars Larson interviewed on Wednesday Charles Wood, the father of Tyrone Woods, the retired Navy SEAL who was killed in Benghazi during the September 11 attacks on the U.S. diplomatic mission there. Tyrone Woods died trying to protect U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens who also was killed along with Sean Smith and Glenn Doherty.
Charles Woods told Larson that at the receiving ceremony in the United States, when his son’s body arrived, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed grieving family members and later told Mr. Woods, that she would make sure that the filmmaker behind the “Innocence of Muslims” online video would be “arrested” and “prosecuted.”
She came over…she talked with me. I gave her a hug and shook her hand and she did not appear to be one bit sincere at all and she mentioned about, ‘We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.’,” recalled Mr. Woods. “That was the first time I even heard about anything like that.”
And that is exactly what happened.
Obama denounced The Innocence of Muslims at the UN. His government pressured YouTube repeatedly to take down the video.
Administration officials have asked YouTube to review a controversial video that many blame for spurring a wave of anti-American violence in the Middle East.
The administration flagged the 14-minute “Innocence of Muslims” video and asked that YouTube evaluate it to determine whether it violates the site’s terms of service, officials said Thursday. The video, which has been viewed by nearly 1.7 million users, depicts Muhammad as a child molester, womanizer and murderer – and has been decried as blasphemous and Islamophobic.
So what is Obama critical of in the Hebdo attack? Does he feel that blasphemy prosecutions are fine when carried out by his regime, but not freelance terrorist attacks?
That makes him a moderate Muslim. And a blatant violator of the Constitution which sees far more wrong in government blasphemy prosecutions than even violent terror.
