Democrats control the White House and the Senate. Not to mention the Left controls Corporate America and the culture.
You would think they’d be happy. Nope.
Republicans’ pride in America has consistently outpaced that of Democrats, while independents’ views have been closer to Democrats’. Currently, 59% of Republicans, 34% of Democrats and 36% of independents say they are extremely proud to be American. The 25-point gap in extreme pride between Republicans and Democrats today is similar to the 28-point average gap since 2001. The latest difference between the two parties is less than half of the record-high gap — 54 points in 2019 — when an all-time low of 22% of Democrats expressed extreme pride.
And that was supposed to be about Trump. But having Dems running things only made so much of a difference.
Republicans are far prouder of America even under leftist rule than Democrats are of the country they run.
But who can blame them, the official discourse in their political and cultural institutions is that America is terrible. A nation created based on slavery whose entire structure is racist from its milk to its highways.
I am an anti-Democrat more than a Republican. However, I’ve voted for a Democrat three times over 30-50 years ago, and voted Republican in every other election.
I’m not extremely proud to be American. I was born here and didn’t leave, so I’m American by default. I’m not proud of today’s USA.
The reasons are obvious, and it would take a long article of my own to list them. There are many good people in the USA who I am proud of. There are also many who are not good, but are foolish and evil. I am not proud of them.
I am proud of my country’s past. It is not perfect; what country’s past is? Since WWII or the Korean War the USA has gone downhill. Now it is in the abyss! Good times lead to weak men, and weak men lead to hard times. That’s where we are/are heading.
It’s no surprise that Democrats are not proud of their country. They are communists/fascists who seek to
fundamentally transformdestroy the USA.May God bless America!?
Being American is a result of no achievement of mine other than being born to Americans. I’m proud of America and thankful for being American. But not proud of being American. The two aren’t the same thing. I’m not proud of having 10 fingers and 10 toes, two arms and two legs, etc. I’m thankful.
I wouldn’t say I am proud to be an American either, although I certainly am not ashamed of it. Rather, I would say I am grateful. To me, pride comes from achievement, not an accident of birth.
Evil is never satisfied. No matter how much you give them, they always want more.
The Demon-Rats are most likely ro violate the U.S. Constitution with Gun Control/Confiscation since their mostly all Globalists like Clinton(Bill) Obama and Biden and there is no Amendment that allows illegal aliens to sneak into America and become Citizens and Voters
