The same Democrat House that refused to condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism, whose leadership is infested with Farrakhan allies, has, very predictably, voted down the McCaul measure to add a condemnation of BDS to the pro-Iran bill on Yemen.
Resolution 7, put forward in the Senate by Bernie Sanders, supports Iran’s campaign to take over Yemen by demanding a US withdrawal of support for the anti-Houthi coalition. The Houthis are an Iran-backed Jihadist group whose motto is “Allahu Akbar, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse on the Jews, Victory to Islam”.
It’s only fitting then that House Democrats united in opposition to McCaul’s proposal to condemn BDS.
The motion to recommit measure failed by 194 to 228. Only 5 Democrats stood up and did the right thing. The rest voted for BDS and “Curse on the Jews”.
One of the few Democrats who did the right thing was freshman member Rep. Elaine Luria, a Jewish Navy vet who has been one of the few to speak out on anti-Semitism in the ranks of the Democrats.
Another Democrat vote against BDS came from Rep. Anthony Brindisi, another freshman in upstate New York.
This would be a non-issue if a number of Senate Republicans hadn’t defected to the pro-terrorist side and voted in support of the anti-American and pro-Iranian resolution, which will now require an official veto from President Trump.
In the House, 16 Republicans defected to the, “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” side.
